Another great DMFD adventure with Deer Mom on the trail, and great camera work by Austin Crocker, thank you for keeping us up to date with your journeys, tell Austin hi from back home in Lebanon county.
Sarah your family was a gift from God. Your parents must be so happy that you and Robert found each other.. and I’m glad you both created the dream family you have. Puts a smile on my face.
Sarah great shot. Rod another great video as usual brother. Like I said before. Africa is a dream trip for me. I've been lucky enough to have been able to get to hunt around the United States, Canada and Norway. But it was back when my father was alive. And my uncles were alive over in Norway. It's been so long since I've had a chance to do any real hunting. The one thing I truly miss is. How my Dad and uncles always taught us how important conservation was also while we were hunting. Anyone can go out and shoot an animal. But unless you also learn how to also use conservation in your hunting process you are not a true hunter. That's my own opinion on that. But Rob the Africa videos have been totally amazing. Now I can't wait for the Big drive to get started. Take it from someone who lived in Alaska for a while. You and your family and crew are going to love it. And if Sarah and the girls happen to talk you into getting a husky or malumute pup while you're in Alaska. Watch who you are getting it from lol. Some of the sled dog racers inbreeding wolves with their dogs for the heavier bone structure for pulling the sleds. And some have wolves just for that purpose. And sometimes the wolfs get together. That's how me and my brother get our first 2 wolves. One of my brothers friends was a sled dog racer and we wanted 2 malumute pups to take back east to our home. 6 months later we had what we thought were malumutes but they were huge. Much bigger than a normal malumute. My brother called his friend in Alaska. The guy laughed and said you wanted malumutes then told us they were wolves 100% pure wolves. We never had any problems with them. We brought them up as regular dogs. They loved people and children. Since then I've had over 30 different wolves and many different wolf hybrids over the years since I was a teenager. I'm 62 now and both me and my daughter still have wolves. She's got my Grey wolf and I have a female Northern Artic white wolf. And if they are trained right they are great animals. But don't get it twisted. They are still wolves and wolves are wild animals. But we have been lucky enough that the one's we have had over the years have been gentle as lambs for the most part. Hybrids on the other hand can be work a lot of work. But like I said great video Rob. Can't wait for the road trip to get started. You and everyone else will have a great time. Stay safe, Safe travels and God bless you Sarah the girls and your crew brother.
Rob and Sarah great content guys started watching this channel in 2014 /15 while living in England ,now I’m in Africa and to be able to watch u hunt right in my country and continent it’s a great honour.. and a pleasant journey. More power to u guys 👍🏾✌️
When my wife and I lived in southern New Mexico we saw Oryx alot. They are a very beautiful animal and yes the meat is very tender. Great job Deer Mom.👍
Where is southern New Mexico did you live? You’re right, the meat is certainly some the best game meat to be had. Unfortunately, the Oryx numbers aren’t as high as they were 20 years ago.
As someone who has spent countless hours on trails of animals shot like that, the sounds between 7:18 and 10:25 is absolutely perfect. You hear your own breathing in your ears, adrenaline rushing to make you alert to every sound, every footstep, every crunch of grass or leaf underfoot, every rustling of clothing, the sweat collecting in the palm of your hand where you're gripping the rifle...Everything you see, the incredibly small droplets of blood you seem to spot out of thin air on the ground, in the dust, between the red specks of grass we also have in South Africa, it's so perfectly captured. Well done. Can't wait for my upcoming trip!
We call this walk and stalk hunting. Known also as fair chase. Just love the way Sarah shows her desire to learn as much as she can from rhe PH (Professional Hunter). Respect you guys so much. Understand you leaving Africa soon for home. Hope you are coming back again? Safe travels and God Bless.
Bro you I heard my name "Gys" it was awesome meeting you guys in South-Africa and for playing with your daughter's and catching some vrogs hope I see you again !!
The horns are just massive on that Gemsbok!!! Wow!!! Congratulations Sarah!!! When your Pro Hunter says shoot that one you shoot that one. You sure did and did well!!!
I just drove by you on 75.!!! Heading to Georgia right now.!!! Even tho I didn’t meet you it was awesome seeing someone I follow since they where a small UA-camr to now.!! Just seeing you in your camper was great haha have a bless day.!!!
I'm loving every moment of this Africa Trip - Thanks for always sharing your experiences with us all Rob & Sarah' Great Shot BTW Sarah and i thought the same thing "You mean that Rock?!" haha.
My wife just harvested a free range oryx in New Mexico. Amazing animal. Several wild species in New Mexico that were released years ago. I have an ibex hunt in November.
We have those free ranging here in New Mexico. I can assure you that is the best wild game meat you can possibly eat. Oryx are delicious. That is awesome great job.
Thank you so much for the content that you put out. It’s a good thing to see men of god on UA-cam and a special hunters. I just started watching your videos and they are great. I’m from South Carolina and love hunting and fishing. You would be the type of person that me and my wife would love to hunt and fish with or just hang out. Keep up the good work and god bless

Great video!! Gotta love a woman that can handle moist game dung then put her finger to her face to make the hush sign immediately after that. Seriously loved it. Also after shooting even with a suppressor that hurt the left ear. As someone in the hearing care business, be careful especially on that off side ear. ( shoot right handed/protect left ear) that loin looked delicious!!!!
Rob my man, your wife is a true worrior. I am never comfortable walking in the safari, I always make sure I'm in the truck when I'm in a safari but wow she is so brave. You both must get permanent residency in South Africa.
At 4:36, Sarah has a long sleeve shirt, long pants, and a back pack. Then we cut to some spiders and come back at 4:43 and she has totally changed clothes to a short sleeve t-shirt and shorts. Is this the same day? Looks like two separate hunts put together to look like one. Or, was the change of clothes in the back pack? Went behind a bush and changed? Good hunt either way.
Sarah remember to practice the hissy cat G before you visit us again lol. Rob is coming right. Well done!!. Did you make biltong? Droë wors /dry wors. Sausage is something else. Very nice!!! I hope you come again. Its very cheap R/$ value. Dankie Gerhard. Jy leer hulle mooi.
Africa is beautiful people. I encourage everyone who can afford to please visit. The people, we are so welcoming. The fauna and flora second to none. Don't believe everything negative you read in papers or watch on TV news.
Rob you went from skinning gators at your moms to multiple homes, ranches, and a millionaire bc of your personality. Nothing else did it. It was all you. You deserve everything!
Oryx can be hunted in New Mexico! Years ago I was working a contract on White Sands Missile Range and an Oryx broad sided the truck I was driving! The Guards warned us that some will do it!It slide my truck over about a foot!
It is so good to see your excitement of our beautiful Africa. Nice Buck, but to really appreciate gemsbuck, you should hunt them in the Kalahari or Namib. Kind regards.
Hey dear me I've been watching your channel for the very beginning and used to do a lot with Joey your best friend can't wait for you to do another one with him a vido

But their meat taste different from the wild free roaming ones in New Mexico because both are raised eating different foods
