- I learn more about my Mustang every day. Recently a subscriber mentioned this in a comment about my 2019 mustang gt. I had never payed close enough attention to even realize this could come off. It makes under the hood look even better on my s550.

Very nice, the catch can is a great investment. I haven't put one in yet but plan to by the end of April.

@@CanadianCruisin Not required for direct ported engines at all. The oil gets burned up.
very cool tip from your subscriber comment. i removed my engine cover as well and wouldn’t u know it i have the same raised oil cap. guess i’ll have to remove that down to size as well. thx bro. also love your intro to the channel, i’m new and trying to figure out how to put that together so u can see something cool and catchy right before each of my videos.

Me personally, I left the 45 degree elbow on, it’ll make oil changes a little easier.
Best looking engine cover is a VMP Odin or Whipple

Not to nitpick brother but I noticed your leather seats are starting to get the dreaded stretch in them. On my other car that drove me insane but nothing that you can really do about it. The cloth does it too but not nearly as bad which is why I went with cloth seats in my 2021.

I literally can't put my engine cover back on because the little studs sheered off. Ford made them too weak. Took off the cover twice and they broke off.
Yeah I noticed when I took mine off. They are definitely a weak spot that's for sure
@@CanadianCruisin I don't really mind since it's pretty ugly and doesn't really serve any purpose, but it's kind of dumb how weak they are.

But seriously.... if you were at the point of maintaining the car on your own for oil changes.... do you think removing that neck is going to make life more irritating for fill ups?
I have a pretty tall funnel so it should be ok. It's also easy enough to install if it does end up being a pain ill just twist it back on again haha

It the little things I like to find out.
I don't see how the strut brace actually does anything with it only being bolted to a very small section of the towers on each side and not the entire circumference of the tower.
It's just to help prevent the little bit of roll and twist under hard launch mostly

Just picked up my 2017GT last weekend. Just curious what you think is the best Mod you've done so far? I'm not sure if I want to go for exterior looks or the AWE touring exhaust first
The exhaust changes the whole car so I'd have to pick that first. Then second would be lowering it. But it depends on how much you want to spend. You'll be happy with either one :)
You should put pool noodles along your wall so you don’t have to worry about hitting the door
It actually lines up with the door to go into the house perfect. I have a small foam piece along the mounding just where the handle hits
