It was the best ecomomy class flight I have ever had! Absolutely amazing! I booked this long in advance so it would be cheap, and I could get a great seat! I will make a review in a few weeks :)
It's always a pleasure to service this plane everyday. From checking in passengers to the main operation of the whole flight. This plane is the most beautiful plane that comes in and out of San Francisco. Hearing this bad boy come in is an ease to my ear every time. Barley hear the engine roaring as it taxis into gate G101. Marvelous plane, yet very good to the environment. Hope to see the 747-8 in San Francisco.
He’s not referring to the air traffic control designation of classing aircraft by wake turbulence, he’s referring to the fact that the aircraft was heavily loaded.
I love watching all the mechanical activity in an aircraft which is the reason I love sitting at the window seat everytime I travel. I suffer when the passenger at the window closes the blind especially without asking.
Incredible this can get off the ground. With its size and with how long it takes to get up to rotating speed, do you still feel a powerful initial acceleration when they first throttle up, like you would on a 737 or smaller jet?
Haha thank you man! I appreciate that someone is supporting me lol... During the landing of my connecting flight I clearly saw that the wind cone by that runway was full of wind haha :P
Not at all. Every passenger plane gradually accelerates the full throttle. It's not a fighter plane where it can reach full throttle on a runway designed for Cessnas.
FSXglobal its nothing to do with the size,,,,,its the facor how fast with which speed to which pitch a plane is rotating or wich radius a plane takes with which velocity.....the size of the turncycle wth which speed. then u feel the g force
Depends on what you mean by g-force: could mean acceleration during takeoff roll or the upwards gravity force of climb, plus the braking force on landing roll. Certain commercial jets accelerate and decelerate faster than others: the A380 is not one of the faster to accelerate from what I hear (unlike 757 or A321)
Dan I love all of your flight videos. I can;t wait to fly on the Lufthansa A380 again on November 3rd. I flew it for the first time in August 2011 and then again in September 2011. The aircraft has to be one of my most favorite aircrafts I have ever flown on. I would say the 747 and A380 are my favorites(:
Great video, I love the way the ailerons are constantly adjusting to keep the flight steady, having just been on an A380 flight from frankfurt to Tokyo and back, I only saw the tailplane camera shot shown on board. that was good, but this is quite interesting! After takeoff I heard the flaps retracting but did not see them as I was in the wrong place!
It's to prevent wear and tear on the flaps. You see other aircraft with really dirty and scratched flap surfaces. That's due to the top of the flaps scraping along the bottom of the spoilers during extending and retraction.
When the bird is such a big one, all that you can see in a wingview is a wing :) Nice video, high-quality again. Looking forward to seing the next ones..
Flaps are silent. Not so, their actuator motor(s). You should've heard a C-141 with actuators right above you, in the cabin. The difference actuator/flaps would be clear.
what date was this flight? i think i heard my brother in law inquiring about changing his seat as he sometimes does...he flies often from franfurt on Lufhtanza....this is amazing!!
Lufthansa operates the A380-840, so these power plants are Rolls Royce Trent 900s. Other variants use Engine Alliance GP7000, which is a hybrid of a General Electric GE90 core and Pratt & Whitney fan.
I love engine and flaps voice in this aircraft ...thank you for sharing
mmmmmmmmm german porn
hhhhhhhhhhhhhhh german porn .. exactly :P

A380 is not Heavy....A380 is "SUPER"
scheiss egal 100 flugzeuge werden zurück gebaut!

Cool! It's an amazing airplane!
Those 10 KM runways sure come in handy! Thanks for the video; great sound!
actually those runways are only about 4 KM long. It is the same as 11,000 feet ;-)
Yah, I was exaggerating a little... :)
@@1956MercM260 do u still exaggerate?
Graceful takeoff for a big bird. Well shot.
That's awesome! You'll love it!
Yeah! It's just such an impressive big bird :D
Yes, I have waited really long too! Thanks dude :)
Glad you enjoyed it bud! :D
Thanks bro!
Yes, who wins??
I was surprised that it was almost completely full! :D
Two meals and one snack! Just perfect!
I appreciate it man!
Yes, finally! I was so excited lol ;)
I also loved how that B747 came swooping in for it's landing. That was nice luck, huh?
Great takeoff, beautiful rotation
Sure do! Thanks man!
Thanks dude! Me too :D
Glad you liked it man! The flight was packed, 520 seats sold!
Thanks man! It a very "sleepy" bird lol! Moves so slowly everywhere :P
Why is thst takeoff so spectacular there is nothing spectacular
I appreciate that man! :D
I really appciate those kind words man! I do my best :D
I was also curious...Airbus planes seem alot quieter than Boeing...what do you think?
The A380 is much quieter than the 747. It is a measurable fact.
They are usually at the C gates... I'm not sure but my flight left from C14 :)
I was at Frankfurt Main in March and was lucky enough to see one of these!
Thanks Lynne! This was June 15th :)
I really appreciate it dude!!
I love watching all the mechanical activity in an aircraft which is the reason I love sitting at the window seat everytime I travel. I suffer when the passenger at the window closes the blind especially without asking.
Glad you liked it man!
Haha! It's a very nice airplane! Thanks dude :D
That's what I like to hear bro :D
Great Vid! Cool shots of United 747 on ground in new livery. Takes a long time to get that bird airborne...climb seems surprisingly slow, too!
I really appreciate that bro! :D
I'm glad you enjoyed the video dude!

I fell in love to A380 after my recent return way flights Frankfurt- Miami- Frankfurt.I also love to make take off and landing videos.
Which is worse, the camera rattling against the window or the infant wailing down the aisle?
I thank you from Patagonia, Argentina.
Damn! Look at that massive wing!
i noticed that when i looked out of the window and saw nothing than the wing
+David Gtad Lol... I know right? The width of the wing spans the entire length of my apartment building.
British(Welsh) Wings You Know and Engines Too
looked like the 747 tried to land on the left wing of A380... :-D
They are huge, aren't they?!
Haha thank you man! I appreciate that someone is supporting me lol... During the landing of my connecting flight I clearly saw that the wind cone by that runway was full of wind haha :P
Great video! I love that noisy flaps of the A380 :)
Thanks man!
Is the G-force immense on take-off and when you land do you feel the thrust reverses?
Not at all. Every passenger plane gradually accelerates the full throttle. It's not a fighter plane where it can reach full throttle on a runway designed for Cessnas.
No, they usually go to 40% N1 then the TOGA button is activated (Full Power) i just wondered if the force was big because of its size.

Love it!! So quiet plane!!!!
Yeah very quiet.👍👍
Wow, this inspires me to travel a lot! 🛫
Coming tomorrow!

Gorgeous 747 aircraft @ 5:42
Man those hydraulic pumps are loud! In a good way :)
those arent the hydr, pumps...these are the etricmotors for the flaps.
You wrote recently that you prefer B747 :-)
Nice to know that you finally decided for A380 as the more modern thing !
Really great view of the wing..
You are simply THE BEST.
I know! It's hard to fathom!
This A380 is the actually the idea of McDonnell Douglas MD-12 in the 90's that no airline wanted at that time
the B747 and the a380 has a huge difference between each other.
A380 has full double Decker
B747 has a half deck
Airplane Engine no maximal a quater deck
Love the video. Thanks for such a good quality one
nice job bro. Its freakey to see the tech at work in the segmented ailerons- such finesse attached to such monstrous brawn!
la meilleur video sur youtube, merci
Thanks pal!
so genial diese 3 querruder aussen am flügel..sieht so genial aus! was eine technik
hey dude i went on the exact same flight u went on it was awesome i loved it:D
Thanks man!!
I want to know what seat you sat at because I want to do a video at the same seat
What was the passenger load factor for this route? Was it full or relatively empty?
It's to prevent wear and tear on the flaps. You see other aircraft with really dirty and scratched flap surfaces. That's due to the top of the flaps scraping along the bottom of the spoilers during extending and retraction.
So... the spectacular windy take-off... did you forget to put that in the video?
How did you like the 380? I was on singapor and it was freaky kind of!
United 747-400: "Oh sh*t, it's an A380, let's get out of here!" :-)
😂😂 lol
Its nice to see the Rhein-Main-Gebiet from the Air.
This is the year I flew the a380 Lufthansa ! ❤️ My first a380
Why?
When the bird is such a big one, all that you can see in a wingview is a wing :) Nice video, high-quality again. Looking forward to seing the next ones..
Thanks for uploading! Great Video!
Are there first class seats which do not spoil your view with wing or engines?
I love that aileron waltz :3
That seemed pretty smooth to me.
Great video. Well done !!!
haha I'm really happy to hear that Jaime! Probably in the summer! If not, I'll go on the 787 (but only maybe) :P
wow...goosebumps all over
What´s that nozzle doing sticking out of the 4th tank from the fuselage ?
Probaly to leak fuel incase of a emergency landing
I believe it is a nozzle for dumping fuel.
love it thank you for taking the time to do this video
What is spectacular is your video camera :)
Great quality brosef! Thanx!
I don't think I wrote that lol! I've always been an A380 fan but the 747-8 will come to the test in October! :D
Spectacular Takeoff?!? NO! Standard Takeoff? Yes!
Flaps are much more noisy than the four engines at take off.
Flaps are silent. Not so, their actuator motor(s). You should've heard a C-141 with actuators right above you, in the cabin. The difference actuator/flaps would be clear.
Were you by chance at a gate near a Delta 767-400?
Awesome video love the a380
what date was this flight? i think i heard my brother in law inquiring about changing his seat as he sometimes does...he flies often from franfurt on Lufhtanza....this is amazing!!
How do you keep the camera so steady? Great vid!
if it is the flight to sfo then WOW how long is that
Can anyone tell me what types of engine used by this airbus? It sounds amazing when take off

when are flaps usually retracted?
