I used to love this tune sooooooooooo much had it on tape recorded from Kool Fm (as it was called back then) never knew the name, 15 years later started seeing a guy he was having a mix in his bedroom and he played this tune, I knew then he was the one, he is now my husband of 10 years. Big Love to the Jungle!
Skana is a real maestro! A year later he changed his name into space manouvres and produced sick progressive house! Big respect to this full talented guy
No way,,,,,, he is Space Manoeuvres.... Never knew that, Jungle and Deep House and Trance was my main 3 styles of music in mu late teens and early 20's... But this tune way ahead of it's time... One of my all time classics..
Artist's name is John Graham, but also known in the progressive scene as Quivver, also as Stoneproof. He also became part of Tilt. Hugely talented artist who has a signature menacing, dark sound.
I had the CD compilation called -dub plate selection 3 or something... all quite good tunes, worth a listen, it fits well on the CD. va - kicklp12-1994-osm
I'm finding all this awesome music on youtube uploading cassettes I taped off the radio (JJJ Mixup) back in the 90s. I haven't heard this since maybe 1995/6. Beautiful.
The myriad of emotions it stirs up can an intoxicating cocktail. Including energizing melancholy and humble and understanding. “I’m feeling emotions I haven’t felt yet”. No one can take these beautiful feelings off me. Incredible time for music and love
Us British Boys and Girls of the 90s just felt it we new we had landed with timeless tracks like This this bits of music was so critically a journey into what was in my mind the Best new music 🎶 to come out of this little country I call home DnB was born with the likes of you and o Thank you with all my heart for your amazing style of writing Proper talent Gimpy 94 🎶♥️🎶♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
back in those days only people who understand music released vinyls and were doing real things...today everybody can be DJ due to synths and auto DJ software...and the music goes down with every new single released... for example RAM records..they used to do things like The Biginning from Moving fusion...and look RAM records today... sad story. The music is devolving.
this is drum n bass at its finest.. bought this track when it came out...and at the time this was mind blowing, still is. the quality in the production was on another level..just listen to it..it flows from one hook to another, and then the piano..masterpiece.
Can't fault this song in any way. Those dark pads with those lush vocals and stunning piano licks are so beautiful. This Way and Heaven put me in a happy place. So glad I still have a copy
If you haven’t already, treat yourself to listening to Nick Warren’s ethereal masterpiece remix of this on his Back to Mine Album from 1993. Just mind bendingly beautiful, improves on the original massively.
Skanna had perfection in his tracks in them days always mixed & blended so well.this. loved mixing this with invisible Man the beginning on timeless records.
This is the best Jungle song ever made in my opinion, and the weird thing is that I've listened since the mid 90's, and NEVER heard this song till about last year, and I've almost been listening to it every day since then. You'll ask how come I've never heard of it, well, we had a limited selection of Jungle in NYC, but also I was pretty young to buy records too lol.
Agreed but still it is just a beautiful track. I hardly ever heard it when I was raving but Kool Fm used to play it all the time. Its just a beautiful summertime feel good tune.
Bought this EP when it came out in 1993 & didn't know what to make of this track at first, was way ahead of its time. Gorgeous music that still sounds awesome today
Massive tune! can't believe only two people have commented on this? skanna was the only person ahead of bukem and photek back then and on par with crystl,
For me one of the best dnb tracks of the last 17 years, first heard Bukem drop it on an old studio mix tape back in 93/94. Still a class track today. Them strings are deep!!
Sounds great. Feel like sleeping almost at the end. But then my brothers phone went off with this song -_- ua-cam.com/video/QqjyBxv6O8U/v-deo.html Made me jump :P
today's jungle just can't top the old skool these tunes would drop you into a different world pure class, let's face it it will never be again but we live with great fucking memories, I have loads of sick tunes on vinyl and will never part with them even have my original 1200s technics 😎 dj climax
I've been trying to track this down for about 18 years! I heard Force of One play it on Rush FM..... i'm getting shivers listening to this now... memories... big up Colin, Peter, Gaffa, Vitamin...
I was trying to think why the synths at 0:50 sounded so familiar, then I remembered they appear in Scooby's Dreaming by Tom & Jerry. Just if anyone's curious.
LTJ Bukem brought me here, by far the best track in Seduction 3. Master class in in Jungle, Skanna was really channelling some serious energy in this track.
i love this tune, was in rdeye records buying my vinyl when the postman walked in with a parcel. this was in the stack and the lads played it staight away, only 5 copies and i took one. glad i did , love the toon
I've grown to cherish this after originally being shaped by the Nick Warren Back To Mine masterpiece (was unaware of this original for a few years) .. the original here used to sound like complete chaos compared to the pitched Back to mine version but now it radiates just as brilliantly into the deep dark caverns of outer space forever travelling through memories of time on which mankind exists and is slave to
The piano parts are so elegant, it's like they are floating above the breaks
I used to love this tune sooooooooooo much had it on tape recorded from Kool Fm (as it was called back then) never knew the name, 15 years later started seeing a guy he was having a mix in his bedroom and he played this tune, I knew then he was the one, he is now my husband of 10 years. Big Love to the Jungle!
Awesome!
:D !
That reminds me. Where is my Kool FM Presents The Fever, with Brockie.
👌👊
He's a keeper xx 😜
The bit at 2:06, gets me every time. Such a killer track
You too then...
for me 4:06, that piano
Oh god, Skanna nailed it. Something about this track is just magical, the atmosphere it creates is unobtainable any where else.
Pure perfection, how I shut my eyes and remember all the good times back then... take me back any day, the summer of 95 !
The way the vinyl starts spinning at 4:04 when the piano rift comes in... sweet as
Skana is a real maestro! A year later he changed his name into space manouvres and produced sick progressive house! Big respect to this full talented guy

Just downloaded from iTunes. This was on so many mix tapes 93/94. What an absolute journey the 90’s dance scene was!!
Fuck genres...I hate the bloody word itself.
Sound of 1993, pirate stations, records shops, clubs and other events. One love
Couldn't put it any more clearly than that.
It's Jungle mate. Genres aren't a bad thing.
that IS a genre, AND it is a loved artistic expression.
One LOve Indeed (y)
Warden Dios totally agree. Should be proud to be part of the jungle brotherhood.
Those chords at 0:50 and the way the breaks just meld into them... special track. Getting me through the coronavirus 31/3/20
Well said, I could not have put it better myself.
You know 👌
Yep. Getting lost in the tunes remembering the times before the world turned to shit. The lat decade we felt truly free. X
This tune was lightyears ahead of its time
i bought this on vinyl when i was 16 yrs old, and it sounds every bit as fresh today as it did 20 years ago. real soul music
I have it too, check the price on it now, its pretty rare and worth a few bucks
An absolutely stunning piece of timeless music. Light years ahead of its time
Couldn't of said it any better......Absolute corker
how is it ahead of its time? more like a perfect represantation of the times it was released.
Amen to that, brother or sister. Also, light years is a measurement of distance not time.
So true!! Amazing
I had the CD compilation called -dub plate selection 3 or something... all quite good tunes, worth a listen, it fits well on the CD. va - kicklp12-1994-osm
Beautiful track.... first heard it on a Bukem set around 93/94, top notch set with this jem in the middle.....perfection
Bukem always delivers

Anything Mr.graham makes is a masterpiece. Sublime, intense, spiritual.
JUST FUKING BEAUTIFUL
Positively huge tune, so rooted in its time yet so bleeding timeless. Enough to make you cry. Ah, the joy and pain of great, great music.

Agreed....RAM are shit now. Unlistenable.....but we can't knock them for making money, we just mourn the loss of a once great label!
It has no price . It is endless
This one , a game changer. The highly underrated Skanna.
It's been so long since I've heard this song...I thought I'd never hear it again, but I'm glad I finally found it!

John Graham is an absolute legend of electronic music full stop
Amazing to think this is by John 'Quivver' Graham before he started to do Progressive House, Beautiful piece of music.
this is drum n bass at its finest.. bought this track when it came out...and at the time this was mind blowing, still is. the quality in the production was on another level..just listen to it..it flows from one hook to another, and then the piano..masterpiece.

This tune is absolutely perfect. I had a DJ Hype mixtape that had this tune on it, brings back amazing memories!!
A drum and bass work of art 🍀
Now there is a blast from my past
Those Paradise club...3am roll outs
DJ Randall & MC GQ
3am roll outs, the best times. Nothing else mattered just the music and the buzz with your Jungle family.
True
Soon as that piano riff hits I die inside
Remember picking this up from Bangin Tunes in Coventry wayyy back, absolute classic.
Could listen to this forever, it's perfection !

This is an early John Quivver graham alias for all the House guys out there.
This and Heaven may be THE best of the best tunes of the era. In a field of incredible tunes from then even ...
One of those tracks that stands above the rest...
timeless
Skanna had perfection in his tracks in them days always mixed & blended so well.this. loved mixing this with invisible Man the beginning on timeless records.
Will give that a go. Still got both 😎
spinning vinyl at the start was a nice touch, sick tune, in my top 10
For almost 20 years I've enjoyed this track. A pioneering classic that still sounds as good to me today as the first listen.
a personal favourite of the earlier half of the 90s
This is the best Jungle song ever made in my opinion, and the weird thing is that I've listened since the mid 90's, and NEVER heard this song till about last year, and I've almost been listening to it every day since then. Love love LOVE this track! So intense and full of emotion!
one of my favourite tracks.. used to not like it, but now i think its great
My all time favorite Jungle track, D&B at its best, beautiful soulful tune with depth not like all that bloody hardstep shit! this has soul!
Corrie O'Connell as amazing as it is its not really a dance floor killer
Agreed but still it is just a beautiful track. I hardly ever heard it when I was raving but Kool Fm used to play it all the time. Its just a beautiful summertime feel good tune.

My sister couldn't watch it because of that. :P
I dont recall ever hearing this, its beautifully constructed, could easily be Metalheadz, & you can't go wrong with a Caron Wheeler sample!

In the very beginning we referred to it as Jungle Techno, Top Buzz being the main pioneers in my eyes.
Oh. My. Goodness.
LEGENDARY TUNE
Always come back to this beauty!

rubbish: a term those uk boiz use to describe something with qualities that resemble trash.
True music big thx to the uploaded 😊
wow...
Truly way, way, way ahead of its time in every sense.
4:03 I love that type of synth. Might be because it reminds me of the games I use to play as a kid.
