I really love Total War Warhammer. But I am so so so terrible at it, and never manage to get very far if at all. I usually default to Lizardmen (Kroq-Gar) but I always wanted to play more Empire. Problem with the Empire is how... Stressful I feel it is. There is just so many things I feel I need to take care of, while also not getting complacent in fighting off enemies... And then I end up with a Sylvania, Forces of Chaos, Orcs or Skaven that just show up with monstrous power and steamroll me. Watching these help a ton though. I really wish I understood how to better do manual battles like Legend does, because relying on Auto-Resolve isnt all that fun and rarely reliable.

Laid up from spinal surgery i had days to spend redoing missions until minimum loss, beat that miserably difficult game, the Dark Omen years later. My favourite playstation games of all time.
Because of your recent Belegar campaign. I realized how great cheesing walled sieges can be with a rune priest. I just had him hug the wall. Casting Wrath and Ruin. They just. Let me do it. On the 4x fast forward for like 3 hours in game. Like. 40 minutes RL. No casualties besides the nuke. Hilarious stuff.
RIP campaign at 3:18:00 Hope you can buy the dlc :P Legend has been saying entire time that he doesnt wanna recruit dlc units cus he might not have it due to not having them in any army or engineer heroes/lords, then fucking confeds the LL of the DLC xD Nice disaster campaign though.
You can i believe and i know you can have dlc units without having the said dlcs. At least i got kislev units through confederation without owning shadows of change.

We enjoyed this too legend. You should really find " a goo doomed" campaign from your in box and live stream it, or have some good players deliberatly make you a challenge campaign think that could be every fun to watch.
@Legend if you assume your GPU is the culprit because the crash references an NVIDIA DLL, then you are affected by the intel 13&14th gen degradation issue and this will only get worse and no amounts of driver updates will this. The devs of Warframe confirmed this with a massive crashlog data dump (GamersNexus posted it in one of their earlier intel bug coverage. All of the nvidia dll related crashes were 90% related to intel 13&14 gen with the rest12th gen). If you are crashing now your CPU is already damaged from intel's voltage issue. You could try to do the bios update that reduced the voltage (released early August) but if you already got to the point to voltage induced silicon fatigue the CPU is cooked forever. It is incredibly unlikely that the doomswarm battles damaged you GPU versus the far reaching & known intel CPU issue. Don't fool yourself, or be decieved by the shop trying to wait out your return period with false advices. You should consider doing an RMA or ask your shop to swap you an AMD system instead (7800x3d) or a 16core 9000 series Ryzen. There is no 9000x3d yet.

29:30 if you have 13th or 14th gen of intel it might be the cause of your crashes. You'd have to get a bios update with the microcode fix for it, even then if the cpu is damaged by then the code won't fix it just prevent further damage.
One thing to do when you’re trying to push auto resolve from defeat to victory is stacking all the purple items on your lords. Since you can instantly swap equipment, it’s often worth it to check stacking super equipment
You cannot damage your graphics card with a horde battle unless you're overclocking it or the cooling is bad. And even with bad cooling, modern hardware does throttle back performance to avoid overheating. But if your graphics card doesn't get enough power or your PSU is bad or your motherboard is bad or your graphics card firmware is bad then that can cause some issues. That said, you should be able to get some indication of what's wrong by looking at Windows logs and taking note of when crashes occur and how they occur. If it's just Warhammer crashing then it may even just be that the game integrity needs a check.
I don't think I've ever seen the AI constantly reform like this on Normal battle difficulty, they just charge right at you. I'm convinced some of these battles/campaigns Legend would lose on Normal because of this behaviour.
Depends on the faction army. Lizard armies will 100% charge and not allow you much time to defend. More strategic factions will reform. And I've commented on previous videos that Normal behaviour AI is harder sometimes to deal with, because it's much less exploitable.

Legend, I don't think you read these, but if you even suspect the video card is faulty/has bad silicone, just send it back under warranty claiming it's faulty, they will have to run diagnos and will most likely just replace it to avoid any trouble. Better to do this now that is new
1:24:37 kislev and the empire also get access to kislev kossack or something along the lines that provides even more campaign movement range. its gotten from winning a battle or leveling up in kislev, I can't exactly remember which.
Well, this was quite interesting, and he put an 8 hour shift in, he regularly does that as his work ethic I think. Super long videos are also the meta at the moment for 'sleeping viewers' I think the fun of this was very much the scenario as much as the game. If we still enjoy watching it that's a big deal to him. It's a feedback loop 'oh they're going to love this' makes it more fun.
If you have a 13th or 14th gen intel cpu and you've been using this pc for a few months, the crashes are probably because of a defect in the firmware for the intel core. You'd need to replace the cpu to fix it. It's annoying because the problems don't show up on regular tests. I just started getting a bunch of memory errors and TW3 stopped loading.
