I love the authenticity of this interview! Great conversation with helpful insights into how things really happen. Thanks I appreciate this video tremendously. The intro is awesome and reminds me of why I moved to Kentucky... it's beautiful here ❤️
Awesome interview! Although I'm not a tea shop owner or have plans off doing it.....yet 🤷🏽♀️one never knows 😊 it offered so much insight on what goes on running one. Lot's of work and determination for sure. Those ladies deserve all the success for such hard work and love they put into their shop 🧋💞
😅 Yes! One must truly be dedicated 110% into opening a bubble tea shop (or any small business for that matter.) But it's the love of it which makes all small "mom and pop businesses" unique and special 💞💘 Thank you for being an ongoing part of this community ☺️
As we come up to our one year anniversary I can appreciate their struggles although 10,000 square foot would really scare me when the monthly rent comes due. Congratulations ladies and I hope you continue in your success.
Hey Joe! Congratulations on your one-year mark! You've made it to a milestone! 👍🏼 Yes - me too 😅 I commend them for all their hard work and dedication. 😇
I also live in a small town like they do that is right outside of a college town. The closest boba shop is 45 minutes away in the city. I’ve really been stressing about what flavor drinks I’d like to start my booth off with. I’d love to know what drinks sell best in their area and for their demographic since it’s so similar to mine.
I think the most essential flavors are strawberry, taro, mango or any sweet fruit. I worked at a boba shop in early 2000s and the owner only sold those flavors and did well not now the shop has a dozen flavors.
Hey Jerick! Thanks for the comment. Glad to know you're gaining value from the boba shop Interview Series I create. 🙏🏼😇 Thanks for being a part of the community 😊
Awsome video! I'm struggling with staff memebers too, at least I know I'm not alone and it's a general issue in business like this. Thank you so much for sharing! I'll take some great advices from this video :)
@@BubbleTeaKristin im currently a videographer..but i have in mind to put up a bubble tea business in Rome italy,, and these 2 ladies almost have all the things i have in mind for my bubble tea business..
Nice interview, but it would have been nice to hear more from the shop owners themselves. 😬 Side note: I would review food safety guidelines with the employees who forgot(?) to get their hair up and out of the way of food prep areas. 😨

Good information on running a bubble tea shop. I bet they were very glad to have your helpful information packets.

Yes, I think they were / are 😇
Great Interview! So smart to do this for the viewers!

Hey Sam,
Thanks for the comment ☺️ You're definitely not alone on that front. 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
Glad you gained value from the video. 👍🏼
Have you seen staffing issues like this pre-covid?
Nope, not personally. I used to get 5 CVs (resumes) dropped off a week. I'm sure other shops were the same. Now... Well sorta speaks for itself.🤷🏼♀️
Wow..this is my type business,,
What do you currently do for work? ☺️

@@RonPalacio awesome 😎🥰🎊
#1 Mistake I see New Business owners make is NOT working their own business and leaving it up to other people....I have no respect for that.
Nice interview, but it would have been nice to hear more from the shop owners themselves. 😬

Sorry I posted (then deleted) my original comment while I was watching the video! 😁
I don’t mind being in the video I just kinda wish maybe you didn’t film the paper with my entire name lol.
Heads up your full name is on your UA-cam channel as well 🙃
