Pre-packing in bags right after listing saves so much time. Also keeps items free of pet hair or dust. Makes ship day a breeze
So true. I’d love to change my system over one day where I’m doing that, but for now, this works for me.

I found a free people cashmere turtle neck sweater while thrifting. Found a small hole around the sleeve cuff. Sewed it up . It took 2 stitches to fix it thats how small it was. I wore it once & that was it. It is now part of my wardrobe.
I loved it it puts my shipping items on Poshmark to shame inspired me to do better yours all looked so nice thanks for sharing

I’ve always been mindful when interacting with those working in the service industry (food, shops, desk, etc) and treating others how I wanted to be treated when I was a waitress, but now I try hard to extend my once quick polite exchange and turn it into an encounter that lets people know someone cares… That sounds cheesy, but it’s really hard to explain through keyboard. ANYWAYS, ALL HUMANS DESERVE KINDNESS; IT’S THE JAM, MAN.

Great channel. Tip. Use a heat gun to remove the old tape and labels. Heats up the glue and stops the tearing of the box.

Yes, I find hair all the time! Both mine and my pets. I keep a lint roller in the shipping area to take it off. It statics to the bags badly if i don't

Becky, pls consider a roll of Shrink/Stretch film to pack odd items such as boots. The stretch film works better than plastic bags and will save $. I have had the same roll (comes in different lengths) for years. Sells in Staples, Home Depot, ULINE, Amazon, etc.

Im happy you said that about Plato's. Im always toyng with the idea of offloading inventory there, but its an hour away and I just dont think its worth it either.
I never thought of using Amazon or Walmart boxes!
I'm not sure if you write the same messages on your THANK YOU cards but if you do it may be easier to PRINT your hand written on the back of the cards in bulk. You can easily do this on your home computer and it will still look hand written. Just write your message on plain computer paper and scan it and save it as a PDF.
I introduce myself, "I'm Karen, but not A Karen" then do a little laugh. If I'm somewhere they call out your name like Starbucks then I just use my middle name 😂

Yes Hustle at Home Mom nailed that point. Those people that say that are haters and dumb on how the economy works as well. We help the poor, the economy and the environment . Yes we use packaging but it can be recycled by the user at the other end.
Fabulous!! Great volume of sales ❤ P.S. I always take my label off reused boxes as well! (my comments are usually edited because I think of something else lol!) I pack my box solidly too - so the item does not move around! Also I use the same plastic bags. Last week a buyer said that the P.O. dropped her box in some kind of oil!!! She said that if I hadn't wrapped her clothes in plastic, they would've been destroyed! The P.O. isn't what they used to be 🤪
And this is the exact reason I tape my boxes on the width, not just the length! Hopefully I can save Mrs. Becky a headache! (Read my comment above) Much Love to ya from Louisiana!
Hi Mrs. Becky! I love your videos and am a fan, however is this a good space for constructive criticism? I hope you take cc well bc I will tell you something only to help you! When taping boxes, I would definitely change from taping on each side of the middle long ways and I would tape the sides closed on the width that way no water, snow, or any other liquids could potentially get it the package. I have had a package almost ruined bc of this problem. I realize you do have the items in a plastic bag but this way is a must for me now! Hope this helps! I love this video. All of your videos are great. Lately I have had so many rambling Poshmark users. They comment all over my listings and then ramble in the bundle. I don't want to block because I don't want to turn away a potential buyer but I'm curious how you handle it if you get that too?
I laughed so hard when then auto caption said the item was made of tinsel and lysol LOL... it will be sparkly and clean thats for sure.
Hiii Walmart have recycling clear bags in boxes 13 Gallon or bigger just cup the string and they are perfect for lárges sweaters and coats..✨✨
I hate those little plastic strips from the bags too! LOL. I usually tie them to each other in a stack so they stop clinging to me. :)
I take a piece of tape, kinda fold in over so the sticky side is up on my desk and press it to the tape after peeling.. once full.. just repeat with another piece of tape.. it has worked wonders for my “driving me crazy” moments! Lol!
I use mainly flat rate padded envelopes for pants.
Yes! Most of my pants weigh over a pound, so I use the padded flat rate envelopes for them often.
I've seen those mailers with the handles on AliExpress

Old Navy just has a following and a lot of stores have shut down in the last few years so I think people are just willing to buy the items they want. I had a NWT old navy pixie pants someone wanted to buy for $8 on FBMP .. then someone on poshmark bought, I kid you not, 5 or 10 min later for $21 on poshmark lol

When you ship Smart Post on Mercari do you send it with the other packages to the UPS or do you find a Fed EX place to drop it off at? I take those packages to the Dollar Store (Fedex) or I stick them in the Fedex box behind our bank. I live 7 miles from town so I try to leave my packages on my mailbox for my mail lady.

Hi Becky I'm new to your channel. You know the green or rather turquoise and white box in front off you on your desk..is that a label printer? Did you make a video on that label printer if so can you send me the link would like your opinion on it. If anyone have any suggestions on a good label printer or even a wireless one that can be used from my phone or cpu let me know your thoughts.
I am always worried about not having a box on hand to weight with my item. I always weigh my items before I list them. Do you have any suggestions to ensure one doesn't mess up on the shipping?
Where e do you get your Ebay mailers vs the other envelopes?
So, the buyer will pay for the shipping? What if the item is very heavy, and you put $7 for shipping and they paid for it already. Are u gonna ask additional money for the shipping?
In regard to your shipping the boots, you only rounded up to the next ounce. I don’t use Pirate Ship or PayPal for shipping so not sure this applies to those methods, but with USPS Priority the rule is: “any fraction of a pound is rounded up to the next whole pound. For example, if a piece weighs 1.2 pounds, the weight (postage) increment is 2 pounds.” Is it different with the method you used?
For priority mail I can use flat rate mailers and boxes? I thought I could only use the priority mail boxes…ugh

I hope you’ll consider switching to paper wrapping from those plastic bags, I know for myself and a lot of other buyers we are buying secondhand for environmental reasons so when the item comes with some 1 time use plastic it’s pretty upsetting. I use paper to wrap my items when I sell and I’ve never had an issue 💜
