It works really well with As I Am Leave in and Urban Hydration gel. I use the combination for my wash n go's and it's amazing!!

Ive been using that product for my wash n goes over 10 years and it likes to work alone. I use it with a denman brush to defy my curls

I like to combine it with "The Mane Choice, Ancient Egyptian 24 Karat Glistening Gold Twisting Gel" and/or "Design Essentials, Almond Avocado Daily Moisturizing Lotion" I experimented on a few sections with a two strand twist out and my hair came out super soft and defined. I have course thick 4a/b hair. I believe both products will create a great defined wash n go as well.
LaTonya Milton I wanted to give the 24 Karat Glistening Gold a try too so that's perfect! I'll definitely see if I can get my hands on both of those products and combine them, I'll let you know how it goes! Thank you so much❤️

i used this product on 1 side or my hair & shae moisture on the other & this product turned out way better & then shine was perfect!!! THIS IS MY GO TO PRODUCT FOREVEEEER!!!! P.S. if you have 3c hair you will love this product
This is definitely still my go to! And I've seen mostly people with 3c hair review the product and were able to get away with a wash & go! I'm so jealous

I actually have my hair setting in a twist out with a leave in .. I’ll find out tomorrow if I added enough. I have a feeling I added too much Amla oil 😮
Ouuu please let me know how it goes! I’ve also never tried Amla oil before but I heard it has amazing benefits for hair!
I have used this product as a wash n go. What worked for me is wetting my hair with a spray bottle and finger coiling it and it defined my curls as if I used gel. But I did take small pieces of hair as if I was shingling it and wrapped around my finger

I tried it but it gave me sooo much buildup at the end of the day. Is there something that you applied in your hair before using it?
Sarah Marcelin I’m sorry that happened! Depending on your texture it might be too heavy🙁 in this video I tried it by itself. Nowadays I use it with the African Pride Hydrate & Strengthen Leave In Cream and let the leave in absorb into my hair while I’m in the shower before applying the Curly Curl Cream. Not sure if that might help or hurt your case but it’s worth a try! That leave in is amazing 😊❤️
Has anyone tried the lighter cream/ lotion in the pump bottle?
I have! it’s pretty much the same. I prefer the container so I can grab as much as I can. The pump took too long for me
does this work with green eco styler anyone?
What if you have straight hair? Will this make it wavy?
This product will be too heavy for straight hair and weigh it down
It sounds crazy but I get the wash and go look with Taliah Waajid Curly Curl Cream if I do it on dry hair. I know, I know, it's technically not a wash and go anymore! But when I do it wet, I get a tight afro. Dry works for me, it might work for you too.
Shivaughn Batiste Thank you for sharing! I might give it a try tbh because I’ve always wanted to try a dry wash & go. Any suggestions to prep for that? Like do you use it on an old hairstyle or let your hair airdry and then apply?
@@Karlisa I start on clean hair. So do your usual wash routine, detangle etc and then I section with big twists until it's 80 - 90% dry, then I undo section by section to apply the TW CCC.

I've been using this for the past 6 years...that's all I use. I use their detangler and their protective mist leave in conditioner.

I did it with a twistout using eco style .. DO NOT MIX . it was a hot mess and had no hold. also flaked .

Please someone tell me if this works for permed hair!! I got my perm hair yesterday (6-6-20) and it’s only been a day and I need tips on how to care but I wanna know if this works for perms!!
Hi! I highly doubt this will work only because it is super thick and can easily weigh down my natural hair. I know when I had a perm, it hated super heavy products because it would weigh it down and make it super greasy. I would stay away from this if you have permed hair
