I have the Curl Elixir and Curl Gellee. The Elixir is bae. Perfect for braid outs and probably wash and gos. The Gellee made my hair super soft, but didn’t have great hold for my hair. Congrats on your progress 🎉

Mixed Kidd You’re most welcomed! I def think the Elixir is slept on. It’s literally silky, and when I wash it out my hair my hair feels amazing. I’ve never had a styling product do that to me. I think you’ll love everything else by them too
I love your results Ty!! And crazy enough I love the curly curl cream you have but I also have the Apple and Aloe Curl Definer (the one you thought you got lol) they both are phenomenal and work very similar! The curly curl cream is the OG! That stuff is bomb under wetline so I'm glad you paired the two together and I agree wholeheartedly about the hold when the hair is dry it's a perfect hold! Your hair was shiny as always🌟🙌🏽!
The apple and aloe curl definer you can find at Walmart and ofcourse online! Also get the gel that pairs with it too they work great together if you are interested in that. Also I would love to see you try some Mane choice Products or Soultanicals! And it can be a wash day, style, anything I'm here to support!💙😇

@@MixedKidd you are adorable!😂😂 I think you should try the braidout glaze which is from the Tropical Moringa collection! That one is my fave its available almost everywhere now! I LOVE the leave in that pairs with it too! But if you wanna try the cheers GEL-ATO then go right ahead it's at Sallies and Walmart and also on their website! Go for it Ty!😇💙

Mixed Kidd uhhh tbh they’re both so good 😭 so i think it’s all what your hair responds best to
@@curlyygod8588 They're basically the same thing I use both of them and it makes my 4 b hair look like 4a. The curl elixir is gears towards looser textures while the heavy stuff is for the type 4 folks.

The leave-in detangler
You should try the Curly Curl "Gello" first. Same product line. All that work applying the product, the Gello gives you definition IMMEDIATELY! Then the lotion moisturizes. Try it! There is also a Monoi oil to seal and moisturize.
Would you say the gello has a strong hold?
I just tried it for the first time today. There are areas that I could never with any product get curl definition but finally did with the Gello. I'll let you know the final verdict tomorrow after I work a 12 ihr shift. I can say that the curls are well defined and soft, not crispy at all. I finished with a few drops of Monoi oil, which is also in the product line,

so...i have this and it seems to make my hair stiff. maybe i used too much? also when i tried it on dry hair like the directions say...i immediately had to just put my hair in a bun...it was a no!

I had to stop and comment that I want your idea of crazy hair. That’s my good hair day! Love the results. I think your smoothing, brushing, smoothing, shingling is the key. Have you tried Curl Theory Gel Styler? It’s glycerine free. I’ve used it three times and my hair feels moisturized with a soft hold. I’m going to try the Taliah Wahid next. But I have made a promise not to buy anything new until I’ve used up some of the crazy amount of products I already have 😁
It was sooo greasy and in the wayyy lol its too humid and hot to have that much hair in my face😩, but thank you! Lol

The first time I used it I didn’t like it and was going to return it to target but I wasn’t sure if I could return an open hair product to target like I can at Sally’s so I kept it and tried again. I’m going to try it with Wetline tomorrow and then let you know if they work well together. I do love that it’s glycerine free. I saw it in a MAD curls video

You can use any cream, it may work better over gel on your hair type, unless you want hold then use gel. Also any brush would work on you hair, but being it the hair type it is you might not need it

Do you use oils at all? And if so, or even if not, have you heard of Biosilk? I’m thinking of adding oil into my regimen. I haven’t used oil in the 3.5 years I’ve been actively growing out my hair and I’m just looking for viewpoints 🤔.
Ive heard of bio silk, my friend ( who will be in next weeks video uses it!) i m not sure id try since i think there is sillicone in it! And if your looking for an oil i highly recommend sunflower oil, unrefined. I havent used oil in a while, not reason really, but i do have some videos using it, my older ones. I highly recommend it! Its light but gives you shine and doesnt give you that greasy feeling
