Great Canadian rock songs from days gone by, I was in my early 20s when this song was popular. Bryan Adams had a lot of hits in the 80s, huge in Canada at the time. I'm loving the great Canadian content you are exploring.
Saw BA last summer and he still sounds fantastic and he's got a great band... his lead guitarist Keith Scott (shown in this video) is very underrated and has been with him since the Cuts Like a Knife years... so many great songs over his career...
My mums is a huge Bryan Adams fan so I grew up listening to his music, mainly his Reckless album which was my mums favourite, at the time it was released. It was on cassette tape and god help me if I got it stuck in the tape deck, it was probably one of the few tapes that survived being chewed up and I am pretty sure I still have it in a box somewhere which never got unpacked after I moved house a few years back so in a couple months time, it will be exactly 40 years old. This song was on that album, on the B side if I remember correctly after Summer of 69, such a good album, a classic, a must have in every record collection
I just saw Bryan Adams last month here in London (London, Ontario, that is...). He and his band arguably rocked harder than when I saw them last in Toronto (in 1984, I think). Great, great entertainer... There's a sweet story behind his concert too. He wasn't planning on performing in London (a city of about half a million located at the half way point between Detroit and Toronto). The headliner for the 3-day festival was supposed to have been fellow Canadian music legend, Neil Young. As it happened, Young and his band took ill (apparently from COVID) just two weeks before the scheduled show date. With the organizers scrambling to save the event, someone decided to ask Bryan Adams. As Adams told it, he was on a scheduled vacation break for his tour in support of a new album but was more than happy to cut that short and replace Neil on the top of the bill. Adams even played a couple of Young's songs (one of which was Keep on Rocking in the Free World; can't recall the other) along with the two other bands who opened for him that night. What a classy guy!
I am older but you know what good music is good music no matter our age or the age of the song.💯💯💯 I knew you would like the Stars and Bars bandana. 💯💯💯He is from Canada Rush Triumph Bryan Adams they have gotta bunch of talent up there ❤❤❤ So good to see that laugh I live for that and your smile country girl ❤I don't know but I think this is the hardest I have ever seen you laugh ❤❤❤#bryanadams #bryanadamslive #bryanadamsreaction #bryanadamslivereaction #redheadedneighbor #bestreactor #redsarmy #beautifulfuncountrygirl #31K #heartofgoldwithmetalinhersoul #bestbadjokes #Rushcrush #redheadparrothead #warningawarningaddict #parrotheads #parrothead #redrocker 💕💕I have to ask Red how do I always find songs you don't know am I that weird??? 🤣🤣🤣AND PLS ONLY RED ANSWER THAT LOL
It's funny how, even to this day, as soon as this song ends I hear the next track on that record, "It's Only Love," which he recorded with Tina Turner. Speaking of which, if there were one recommendation I'd make to you, it wouldn't be Rush (although my handle would suggest otherwise). It would be to watch the video of Turner and Adams singing It's Only Love in Birmingham, UK in 1985.
Have you heard or seen the video for Bryan Adams and Tina Turner, "IT'S ONLY LOVE" ? It's a great, energetic performance! Keep up the great reactions 😎👍🏾🔥
Bryan Adams? Canadian. The computerised music, new wave, new romantics with their make up, ha ha, I remember that coming in as a kid. We're all set in our ways musically at some point aren't we.. Anything not heavy rock or metal from about 84 to 90, forget it I didn't want to know. 😂 Bryan Adams album Waking Up The Neighbours I've always felt would have been the follow up album Def Leppard would have made to Hysteria had they not had the tragedy of Steve Clark's death as it was made with the same producer Mutt Lange and has his sound and song writing all over it.
Canada has given the world the likes of Rush, Bryan Adams, and Glass Tiger...which is the only reason why I forgive them for exposing us to William Shatner and Justin Bieber.
If you want some really great blues-rock that goes right through your body, check out New Orleans is Sinking or The Hundreth Meridian by The Tragically Hip.
@@redheadedneighbor DO it RED! If you've never heard it, it takes a sample from Bruce Hornsby and the Range's "The Way it Is"! You'll love it! 2PAC's best song in my opinion! ❤️👩🏻🦰

What a fun reaction that was. You seem to possess a wise ol' soul, a high level of awareness and a very charismatic personality.
The guitar player is from my home town of Hamilton Ontario Canada and to this day he is still Bryans guitar player
Bryan Adam's another great Canadian musician

...and the only reason why I listed William Shatner along with Beiber is that Shatner also released an album a long, long time ago.

If you dont have a guitar, a bass, and a drum (none of them electronic), you are not a rock band
He has written so many tunes/hits for other artists....check out that list
You should check out The Tragically Hip. Awesome Canadian band.
She did Nautical Disaster.
I know its a bit of a long shot but could you do Felin feat 2 Far Out - Whatever. Sort of a catchy pop punk tune that i think you may like
