I live in Tuscany and love to go to La Spezia as a base to explore and hike le Cinque Terre. La Spezia is a busy working port and mooring point for yachts going up the Ligurian coast. There is a busy international vibe. Saturday evening, the place is alive with locals chilling and eating out after the day trippers have gone. It's very clean. A huge municipal workforce is out every morning sweeping up and getting getting ready for the day.
I grew up in La Spezia and now I live abroad, but your videos give me good vibes and I like to see my town and its surrounding places! They remind me when I used to live there... I used to walk along the boardwalk, go to Lerici or Cinque Terre o walk along the promenade from San Terenzo to Lerici.. I am glad that you appreciate my own town! If you have a chance I recommend you to visit Tellaro, Fiascherino, Punta Corvo, Levanto, Bonassola (you can reach it from Levanto by walking or by bike) and Framura. Cheers
Winter is mild with many beautiful sunny days. In summer it is hot but not unbearable like in central and southern Italy or in the Po Valley. La Spezia is surrounded by hills and wooded mountains where it is pleasant to relax or go trekking. From the city center in 7 minutes by train you are in the Cinque Terre, or you can take the ferries where in a few minutes you are in Portovenere, on the Palmaria island or in San Terenzo, Lerici, Tellaro: all wonderful seaside places. I'm Enrico from La Spezia :)

Yes, I walk sometimes from San Terenzo to Lerici also. Thank you for the comment, and I am happy to remind you of how amazing your city is :)
I must admit, Tellaro is the most beautiful town in that area (including Cinque Terre).
I've an important question as maybe I've to move there. How is weather in winter? And in summer is too hot? Please let me know

summer is quite hot but theres very good beaches and winter is cold but not super cold, sometimes snow but not often
The background behind you is Lerici right ? Not La Spezia ?
Yes
how easy is to find long term appartment or houses for a foreigner ?
During summer times it's more difficult due to tourists. However, if you try during the months September-March you'll have a higher chance.
What could I expect to pay for an apartment. I came there last September and I did love that city. I am coming again this September.
@@gregwarren4791 if you come during the tourist season it will be on a higher end 600-800 euros. Off season lower end
How is it when you come in Big autocamper?
The hardest part will be finding parking. The city is tight with narrow streets.
…and you didn’t go to La Taverna del Metallo!
I did not. However, Tellaro is incredible also.
Dream life
We are living it!!!
