You know we all need to have something in our lives to get our minds off of tragedy. This was one healthy activity and time well spent to make amends with whatever it is around us that keeps our lives afloat, and our hearts in tune. Rockin chairs were made to cradle idle minds into early graves. You drive that truck like my Dad used to drive his 68 F100. Had power to spare from a 375hp headed 390 with a 3 speed. Though he chose 2.76 rear gears and just poked it along in high gear until the lanes were completely clear to open her up a little. Driving like a captain and not a racer... Dad would have admired this truck...
I just realized why I like this channel so much. Everyone you interview is relatable to someone. No egos, no playing it up for the camera. Just genuine people. Keep it up guys, thanks for the content.
So so sorry for your loss brotha. In loving memory. I’m a C-10 guy but I do love all of those late 60’s Chevy and Ford trucks. Just beautiful! Well done my man!
Love the fact it's an at-home old school build. Dependable drivetrain and the in-the-weeds look is really cool. The patina paint job looks really good. Be safe and stay well.
This is one bad 67 F100. I love the patina/clean interior from the future. I also love that he doesn't flog on it during the video and the personal touch to this video tops em all. Not all "hotrodder" are in it for the same reason. Nothing wrong with building something just for a cruiser. I've always had fast to me vehicles, but never found the need to beat them. As always, top notch production and content from the AutotopiaLA crew. Thanks team.
Condolences on your wife. I must say I bet she is amazed with this stunning truck. That’s my dream truck right there. Wouldn’t change a thing you did. Absolutely gorgeous. Hats off to you sir. 🧢
Jesus H Christ on a hobby horse ! ..... that interior is awesome artwork. Who wouldn't want to drive that truck everywhere ? Clean, Clean and did I mention Clean ? 🍻
My dad passed away on Memorial Day in 1995. That is why this weekend and Father's Day mean a lot to me. That is the reason I build and enjoy my Hot Rods.
I normally like my trucks 4 wheel drive and tall but I really don’t mind the look of this thing sitting way down low, love the side exhaust!! Really nice interior too, those seats look amazing and super comfortable 👍
There are so many things I love about that truck, one of many is the paint; patina on the outside, then like new under the hood , on the interior & in the box!
I lost my best friend, my dad, almost 4 years ago, i cry everyday becauae i miss him. Hugec inspiration in my military career. Daughter bf just lost his great grandmother of 103 yesterday. I comforter him holding and both crying last evening on the front of our house. After being in the USMC, I only hate one thing. Death to loved ones. Enjoy what you have!🇺🇸💯🙏🤙🏻
Sweet F100. I love that he's driving it across the country. I'm glad he was comfortable with keeping the stuff about his wife in the video. It's part of the story of the truck.
So sorry for the loss of your wife, you f100 is one cool truck, wow the air ride suits the truck,it sounds amazing too.keep on rolling down the road stay safe and enjoy life.
God bless Lou and his truck. it was very touching that he was willing to share his story, and how his wife lives on through that truck. not only is that truck beautiful, but the character and soul that lives in that truck makes it PRICELESS. I'm sure his wife would be very proud and honored.
This is a nice tribute to his wife built by a nice guy. Sorry for your loss sir. Also this is one of my favourite builds that I've seen in this channel.
Lou - so very sorry to hear of your loss. It’s so humbling and amazing that you’ve found a way of honoring your wife to propel you thro’ this build in her memory. I love that you’ve been totally un-compromising with your individuality.
Awesome tribute! We all build for different reasons, but for in the memory of a loved one has got to be the best.... but also the hardest. Take comfort in knowing she is sitting by your side always.
Super clean build done all by himself and what he couldn't do, picked out and installed great! A sick ass cruiser and that front/rear tire offset size looks clean as she rolls by and from the rear view.
Awesome builds great creation great story behind the background very sorry about your wife but you are right season Spirits with you keep cruising go Ford
Awesome build, I'm sorry for your loss brother. I noticed the Ford Era sticker on the back window, hopefully Solomon will do an episode of What The Truck on this bitchin' F100.
I watched these videos from this channel all the time and I've never commented... But this is why we do and love cars much love to all you guys over there
Kills me how people give shit over their cars. Every car guy has a passion and a vision. If you don’t like their car so what. Appreciate what they love it makes them happy. The patina paint scheme is art great job with this build.
It doesn’t need to ever be a shinier gloss or a flashy paint, so much of it has to be based on the reason for the build. My Sincere condolences to this guy, but I’d do the same damn thing as my wife would have loved that kind of a tribute. Good on ya, brother!! Beautiful ride created out of passion and genuine love 👍🏼👍🏼
So sorry for your loss buddy. Gah , I went from excited about the truck to shedding tears right with you. God bless you sir. The truck is probably my favorite I’ve seen to date. But now with the back story, this truck is even more special. Gorgeous ride ❤️🙏🏻💪🏻👊🏻
Sorry for the loss. On a happier note, ive seen the truck in person. Its an immaculate build with amazing craftsmanship.
Got me choked up there for a bit....such a nice guy. His wife would have been proud of what he built
the perfect cruiser, just floating along smiling !, class !!!!
RESPECT On THE BUILD brother!!...Your Wife...i'm sure is Smiling from Heaven!!
Best episode by far. I’m sorry for your loss, she’s definitely smiling down on you and with you everywhere you go!
Facts the passion from his voice show exactly the truck was designed as a tribute to his wife....... hope he keeps it for a very long time

This is one of those 4 ever cars/trucks. It was built to last with love and so long as there's a person to care for the vehicle it's going to run.

Sweet truck. Love the story behind it.
So good and meaningful guys, cheers
Great truck, sorry for your loss sir. Didn't catch what was done to the exhaust. Never heard a coyote sound like that.
I'm proud you using a "garage" to work on it. I too build things in the garage.
It doesn’t need to ever be a shinier gloss or a flashy paint, so much of it has to be based on the reason for the build. My
Sincere condolences to this guy, but I’d do the same damn thing as my wife would have loved that kind of a tribute. Good on ya, brother!! Beautiful ride created out of passion and genuine love 👍🏼👍🏼
