Demon or no demon, it is definitely a good thing to have your home blessed.
I had to have my house blessed a few months ago. I had been hearing noises outside my bedroom and upstairs when my husband was away on business trips. I initially thought someone was creeping around outside until the noises moved upstairs. I instinctively grabbed my rosary and our blessed mother quieted the house so I could sleep . This went on for a month or so.
The last experience I had was hearing my backdoor open, which made my dog go crazy and then I heard footsteps walk from there to behind the couch where I was laying. I knew what it was, but with my rosary within reach, I wasn't afraid. I had my priest come bless the house soon after. My house is full of french antiques that I bought while living in Germany, and he focused extra attention on 2 pieces. One was upstairs, where I had been hearing noises and one downstairs near the backdoor. I haven't had any more trouble and my house is so peaceful. We celebrated with strawberry shortcake, one of my pastors favorites, lol!

A yearly household blessing by our priest around Theophany feast keeps our home spiritually safe and sound ….. it’s one of the few chances to have a coffee one on one with the clergy as our priests are very overwhelmed. Glory to God for our clergy.

I love how Father wasn't scared of the unclean spirit during his first exorcism but rather he was fully ready to terrorize the terror and get rid of the devil. Father was born for this role. Thank you for doing God's work.

I did an entire house Epiphany blessing back in 2020. I was alone in my late sister's big house which was recently sold by her daughters. It was infested with demons. I blessed each door according to the ritual and worked my way down to the inner basement door where the train room was. That was when that door shook as I was blessing it. I prayed for the family that was moving in. Unfortunately my sister's daughters didn't take any measures to bless the house before the sale.

So if you were implying that you were hoping to date someone when you said you want to be friends, I do have many single friends who are looking to find a good man. But also I'm in Australia, so I'm not sure how that works for you

Fr Martins story is amazing!
The account about the newlywed couple who were plagued in their new home reminded me of one of the first rental apartments I lived in during my first year after moving from home. I had recently moved to this particular city during the 1980s Recession, and took up residence in a pay-by-the-week motel. Everyone there was a permanent resident because times were tough. There were all kinds of parlor tricks that at first amused me, but then got annoying, and then downright abusive. I was only 18 and didn't know anything about any of this, but when it interfered with my sleep one too many times, I claimed authority over myself and my home. And that's all it took. I suppose if anything like that happened again, I would not find the initial parlor tricks amusing. I've never owned my own home, so there's no telling what previous tenants or landlords have done. The place I lived in previous to where I live now did have something strange happen the first night I got the keys. From the street front, I was on the 2nd floor, but my apartment overlooked the river, so there's a slope, and my apartment was on the 3rd floor in back. Being a riverfront apartment, there were wrap-around windows. I was sitting in the dark on a folding chair, taking in the scenery of the river, and saw a shadow figure reflected in the big picture window. It crossed from one side of the room behind me, and disappeared through the wall. I thought maybe it was reflections of headlights, because it was a busy street, and there was a bit of a glimpse of the street through one of the windows. I forgot about it, probably because I was traveling for work, but I did want to have the apartment blessed. It was my first place where I lived alone. When I was home next, I scheduled a blessing, and the priest and Deacon-trainee asked me pointed questions. It really didn't occur to me that anything odd had happened, but Father kept repeating the question in every room. Finally he asked to take a look at the deck, and asked again. And then I remembered the shadow figure. I was so taken aback by that. How could I forget such a thing? But he said it happens, and he made a special point to bless the area where I had seen the shadow figure cross the room , almost washing the walls with holy water. I was actually using that room as my bedroom, and hadn't thought much about the fact that I was having nightmares, until they stopped that night. I haven't had any nightmares since, either, because I bless my pillows and bed, and the walls of my bedroom with holy water and prayer.
Living in the tropics, I'd quite like to have a 10,000 RPM ceiling fan in my house, but I don't want to make a literal deal with the devil to get one! 😅

I’ve heard this story before. Not sure if it was in a book that Fr. Martins was a part of or a different podcast. But I knew the whole thing down to the uncle, the spinning ceiling fan, empty music box etc. Anyone know where else this story has been told?

Thank you, Fr. Carlos! I heard this same story that you're shared when you were interviewed by other podcasters. I didn't know that as an homeowner that I had the authority. I had a few manifestations occured in my home. I didn't say any prayers that specifically to commanded the evil spirits to leave this house I just made sign of the cross on myself and bless in a sign of cross toward the manifestation. My kitchen had rattled 3 times since I had moved here two years ago. It instantly stopped after making the sign of the cross. I had seen an hag at the foot of my bed. I thought it might be My wild imagination at first. But my 2 cats heard it, their eyes were focused to direction where I had seen it. I just said the rosary and the Divine Mercy chaplet. I don't what happened last night. I woke up to a smell of pee on my bed sheets and my pillow. I got up to go to the bathroom. My night gown felt damp wet at the shoulder area. It smelled like pee. Maybe my cat peed? Idk. It's very unusual. I wasn't feeling up to undo the bed at 2:30am to wash them or to change my nightgown. But I did. I took charge. I felt I shouldn't neglect this, it must be taken care of. So I did. My point is the authority to take responsibility of your own home. Don't don't be negligent, for example, don't leave dirty dishes in the sink. Put order in your home, don't leave it in disorder.

Wait. What about the strange art and locked areas? And if the demon(s) was invited in by the Uncle who still owns the house, wouldn't it(they) still have authority to be there despite the new tenant ordering them to leave? Seems like you would need to involve the Uncle too, or did I miss that part?
When the uncle told his niece, "my casa es su casa", "my house is your house in English" he granted equal authority to her.
@@ilovemytribe Yes, I understand that idea from the show, but if demons are as legalistic as has been reported, I would think the owner who granted the authority for the demon to enter would need to withdrawal that authority. What must be the issue is actual occupation of the space and perhaps not a sort of legal agreement.
@@ufz777 not really - it’s about who has authority over the space the demon is ‘occupying’ - the uncle gave his niece that authority.
It’s about spiritual authority. Just how my parents have spiritual authority over me (although in a slightly different way than when I was a child) they have full spiritual authority to pray over me however I have no spiritual authority over my parents.
A husband has spiritual authority over his wife and children and a wife has spiritual authority over her children.
If your view was correct then people who buy/rent a house that is already infested would have no authority to expel that demon/s and you would have to contact all previous owners/tenants until you found who gave the demons permission either wilfully or indirectly.
Also saying such is limited God and making out demons are more powerful that God - God cannot be limited He is all powerful and all is possible with Him. Demons will try to make you think they are more powerful than God as a trick to hold on to their legal rites

There is enough evidence here to convince any reasonable person this unseen world is real. The Discovery Channel had shows like this, it is possible.

how does a exorcist help a person with spiritual oppression who has a cognitive deficits brain? who might not be able to say all of those rosarys who might have trouble asking saints for help who isnt really good at knowing what is sin at times what do you do if the person cant fight their way out right normal brain people seem to be able to if they are willing?
talk to your pastor first and if he cannot help reach out to Fr Martins.
To hold you over until a priest helps you, put on gregorian latin prayers and music especially the prayer to St. Archangel Michael and our Lady Virgin Mary. I made a playlist to sleep at night and it's cut back oppression significantly

Is the evil eye a real thing? I had a dream of seeing an eye in a triangle looking at me and all day today I keep seeing a pattern that has an eye in the hand on cars or jewelry. The word evil eye keeps popping in my head. It's weird 😅

As a protestant, I believe generally that the Catholic exorcists are more effective. Because the Catholic priests have a lifelong fast from sexual grativacation, Jesus said. Is that some demons come out only by prayer and fasting, as for why? I am still a protestant while enjoying these podcasts. That is because it is a matter of the interpretation evidences. Presented, for instance, instead of saints intervening. We believe these are angels. Also I have a theory that instead of the demons no longer being interested in displaying their power when the exorcist has become accustomed to them. Instead, they no longer have that much power. In other words, our fears empower them about 15 years ago I knew a pastor whose wife heard the sound of wolves fighting right next to her. She yelled out and said. I am not afraid of you. And the sounds stopped. This was not the end of their demonic troubles, however, just for that instance.l

There is no theory in spiritual world. Demons follow rules and are familiar with the Bible.
The exorcists have apostolic authority over demons and saints are our brothers and sisters who are in heaven as Jesus said God is a God of the linings not the deads
