Set the oven on Bake mode and keep both heating coils on, while preheating, as well as baking. Keep the wire rack in the middle and keep the cake tin on the wire rack. Please let me know the results if you ever try.

You need to use fresh eggs for baking. You can add vanilla essence and may add vinegar as well to avoid egg smell. Also dont over beat the eggs while preparing the batter. And its better to taste the cake after 1 day of baking.

Hi Nisha, mine is a bigger oven which may not be available in India. If you are in India, for normal purposes you can buy the Philips one. But its all about personal choices. You can do a market research and find a suitable one for yourself.

Thank you Ambili, 😍I am sorry but I am not using a Morphy Richards oven nor an OTG oven. But here is what I got from one of my friend who uses a Morphy Richards OTG oven.
Set the oven on Bake mode and keep both heating coils on, while preheating, as well as baking. Keep the wire rack in the middle and keep the cake tin on the wire rack. Please let me know the results if you ever try.

I usually soak cakes with sugar syrup while frosting but for this cake its not necessary to soak as this is a moist cake.

You need to use fresh eggs for baking. You can add vanilla essence and may add vinegar as well to avoid egg smell. Also dont over beat the eggs while preparing the batter. And its better to taste the cake after 1 day of baking.
