I used to draw pictures of Graves in highschool. he was my idol back in 97-98. i sent him a picture on his birthday, and i received a package of signed cds pictures and a letter from him. the guy is still my idol 13 years later. f*ck yeah baby. GRAVES!!!
I remember riding in my parents car as a little kid just looking at all their pictures in the Famous Monsters CD booklet. The Photoshop was so cheesey but I still love it, I wanted to get each of them to sign their pictures in the booklet but that probably won't happen, Doyle is the most accessible one these days. I would've liked your comment but I didn't want to ruin the 138 likes 😂
i listen to mikes music religiously. i saw him the other day at dunkin donuts here in dumont and just from talking to him and then going to his acoustic show the next day, i can honestly say hes one of the nicest guys ive ever met.
I've been coming back and watching this video for 15 years now. Is just as good now as it was then. I'll never stop blasting this song. And 15 years later this is still the best live version of this song.
+coopergumby Just saw Michale at a small show at a bar up the street from me. He did an acoustic set, played Saturday Night acoustic, so I recorded it and uploaded it to my channel. He performed it with a first verse I hadn't heard before.
graves is sweet. danzigs sweet. misfits are sweet. no reason to argue over the two. obviously danzig is a legend and thers no graves could do about that except for do his best
hes so funny. my friend was calling him the day of the show asking him when he was gonna finally show up... so then in the middle of his set his phone rings and he pauses and looks and my friend and hes like, "is this you man?".. then he was talking about smoking up when writing music, cept his little neices were at the show too so he'd be like, yeah so i was "reading"... and then after the show we asked him if he'd "read" with us and it was a pretty hilarious conversation.
@ROFLMaster03 if I had all the money in the world, i'd pay Graves, Danzig, Doyle, Only, Chud, each a billion, to make it happen.... that's how much this would mean to me. Since the winter of 04 when i discovered The Misfits, NOT a day has gone by without me listening to them.
@@Harticles I think that I would give it to Blitzkid over Mister Monster only because MM only ever really had the one album. But that album is very much the best horror punk record of all time.
i heard that the misfit and volbeat are ment to be doing a tour soon dose anyone know of this to be true? if so could you let me know. and the 2 graet songs off the famous monsters album is this one and scream
I'll give Danzig his due, the guy can write songs. But he just doesn't compare to Michale. Michale's got talent AND voice. I had a friend who was a devoted Danzig fan. He listed to this song, and converted. Woot.
The thing about the whole Graves vs. Danzig thing is that they are both truely amazing vocalists... Graves has more of smooth, do-wop/poppy voice, and Danzig's is really more of a deeper toned, raspy blues style voice. Sometimes I wonder what their careers would have been like if instead of pursuing punk rock, Glenn had gone toward a blues career, and Michale pop-rock...It would have been interesting... Bottom line, they are both great musicians.

Hell yea bro how old are you now?
That's sick
Now 13 years later..
Now 26 years later.

This is probably the best performance I’ve seen of this song, especially the crowd singing as loud as they are
That show was great. It was a small venue and everyone was into it.
I could watch all these videos all day. Brings back teenage memories. I love you michale!

His voice and his skull face paint is my biggest inspiration since my youth. Legend.
Wow, this is one of the best live videos I've seen with Graves singing.
the danzig era and the graves era really have NO comparison.

yeah i love how he has like an 80's style voice that contrasts his look! Hes so good its unbelievable!
I didn't always like this song when I first heard it but now it's probably one of my favorites.
This video is a youtube relic
I've watched this like 3 times today. I hope graves would come to MA again.

Blast from the past!
@ROFLMaster03 if I had all the money in the world, i'd pay Graves, Danzig, Doyle, Only, Chud, each a billion, to make it happen.... that's how much this would mean to me.

I love the guy at 30-32 that jumps on stage and sings. Legend
Love Michale Graves, and this song is epic. But...it just bothers me that the person behind him isn't Doyle...
Best song EVER
This isn't emo, it's much more doo-wop. It has a strong 1950's vibe to it.
Thanks Stephen hawking
The crowd FUCKING LOVES IT!!
Mr Michale Graves is a PB. 👌🦁🤡🌎

01:15 amazing
amazing voice pure horror punk
J-sin is also the singer and guitar player for Mister Monster, probably my favorite horror punk band right now.
Easily the best horror punk band and my favorite band of all time for that matter.
@@Harticles I think that I would give it to Blitzkid over Mister Monster only because MM only ever really had the one album. But that album is very much the best horror punk record of all time.

Michale Graves...the most famous Republican since Johnny Ramone.
We will assume control again soon.

@gsevolved

Its eather Gotham Road or His band Michale Graves
where did the 52 ways thing come from...random!
that was fucking awesome.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I heard in an interview that it was about a guy whos girlfriend dies of an overdose and the cops question him. Eventhough it does sound like murder.
Do you mean the danish band Volbeat?:O
If that's the case, I hope they come to Denmark! :D
Doyle was not a part of the first recordings. Frankie Coma played guitar on Static Age
Seriously, post more of this show if you have it. (other than Helena)
i think graves & danzig should do an album togethr
good singer, i like songs like this... so what other misfits stuff shud i look for?
