I've been wishing for a Stray Kids X ReacttotheK content for a long time huhu. We STAYs should help Umu with manifestation and "bully1ng" div1 like how we helped Dive Studios manifest ChanLix for Kpop Daebak and SKZ going to different guestings!
that last falsetto was actually felix! his range is insane, and massive kudos to hyunjin for writing the track and delivering his verses perfectly and minho for his godly falsettos too

@@leonardoenrico2152 I didn’t say Bang Chan didn’t produce this, just that Hyunjin started the composition of this song as well as some lyrics- Bang Chan and the other members have mentioned this before :)
@@kaeceys3945 also bang chan himself said that hyunjin brought him an almost complete song, he just added some additional beats and tweaked some of the melodic lines...hyunjin is the main composer in this song

Fun fact... the last falsetto in Taste is actually Felix! Most lyric videos are wrong thinking it's Hyunjin but that last one is actually our deep voiced rapper Felix! He's insane! Lee Know went OFFFFFF on that song! Hyunjin did such an incredible job with Taste!

all the members really out-did themselves with their sub-unit songs. 3RACHA of course, slayed. Chan's "my boys spitting fire they be locked and loaded BAH BAH BAH" lives in my head rent free. Taste is such a bop omg. My boi Lee Know's heavenly falsetto *chef's kiss*. Can't Stop is such a fun song. It fits IN and Seungmin's voices so well. I'm so glad they got to flex their main vocal skills.

the sound at the end of 3racha is supposed to be a knife, in reference to chan’s line “pull out the shivs.” he mentioned in his yt live that he tried to use metal/blade sounds!!

Hyunjin wrote Taste with Red Lights in mind. In an article, Hyunjin said he wanted to capture a longing desire for love in this song. It took him a month to make the demo & the guide for it. He showed it to Chan & Chan loved it so much. He edited some portions & they switched the melody line a bit. Hyunjin then sent it to Lee Know and Felix so that they could add their own personal touches to it. They recorded everything in about 2 hours. Hyunjin is really honing his skill to be a full-blown producer...thanks to 3racha for guiding him. I'm just so excited about this song. Thanks for reacting to it.
If you listen to 3Racha on repeat, you'll actually hear the start and ending (the bicycle bell) flow perfectly together and it's such an amazing detail that just confirms how briliant 3Racha really is
Umu I hope you get as many interviews with kpop acts as possible while in Korea. Of course I am most excited if you would meet Stray Kids in person for a sit down. Manifesting BIG TIME!

I think the opening part with felix that you were obsessed with "Fake eyes Open" feels slidey and open because he has a natural Australian accent so his English sounds different. Also he has incredible range. Also Sungminnie is a huge Days6 fan incase you didn't already know.

every time skz do unit songs, those members in the unit write and/or produce their own unit song (sometimes there are other producers too, or chan,, but the members who sing the unit song are always on that songs credits)

Bang Chan is the main producer of both 3RACHA and Taste! My fav tracks in the album.
Bang Chan is the main arranger, Hyunjin is the main songwriter, technically you're right to say Bang Chan's the main producer but in kpop they label as producer both the songwriter and arranger so both (plus Felix, Lee Know and Versachoi) produced the track.
So you're right but they are also right.
@@MorePara8 yes i know how they use it differently in kpop, and im glad you're aware too because i saw many stays discredit chan thinking hj made the track and spread that misinfo :D i've been trying to use the general term (but specifically saying 'instrumental' as well just in case) under reaction videos so reactors won't be confused when stays say hj "produced" it ^^

Chan said that "Hyunjin made the demo (for taste) and showed it to me" so he is the one who produced this music. What you said about "so reactors won't be confused when stays say hj "produced" it" is wrong. Chan also said confirmed Hyunjin produced the song with a little bit of his help with details and said "i thought there needed to be like parts where performance aspects could be shown in the track itself so i asked versachoi to help arrange it!". Vershachoi, Chan, and Hyunjin are the same people who produced this song and there are also contributions from Lee Know and Felix. Chan (3racha ofc) has been known as a producer of stray kids songs, so there has been a lot of praise for him and Stay WILL ALWAYS APPRECIATE HIM for this. But for Hyunjin, he doesn't produce a lot of stray kids songs and this is his song so we want to give Hyunjin a spotlight and appreciate it more so that he can still produce more songs.

@@tapioooca5182 Producing references outside of kpop? nah, teen vogue in his article mentions that "Taste, producer by Hyunjin" and several articles that mention that he is one of the producers. are teen vogue and international articles take the term "producing" as it is used outside kpop tho? what I don't agree with you is why you tell other people that hyunjin is not the producer of this song and it's as if you are denying the argument of people claiming that he is the producer of this song.

For the slideyness in Taste, it reminds me of a specific technique in Hindustani (Indian) classical music that's called Meend which involves starting on one note and ending on another while sliding through the notes in between. Idk what that is in Western musical technique terms, but if anyone wants further reference on that vocal technique, you'll probably be able to find stuff by researching meend. It does really cool things to the feel of a song imo. (ETA: A good song where this features heavily is "Jaaiye Aap Kahan Jayenge")
So all I can say about Taste is that it's on repeat for...reasons. It's addictive. Literally.
