The coolest thing about this episode was getting to see Sanemi and Obanai in action, and also seeing Mitsuri and Shinobu.
More like the hottest thing, for the latter.
It was nice that the anime added that fighting scene stuff at the beginning since it wasn't in the manga

I figured they were going to add some stuff since this arc is extremely short in the manga but I wasn't expecting a team up between Sanemi and Obenai. Also just to clarify that area they fell into isn't small. It's the same area they've been showing at the beginning of several seasons. Like when they showed it and there was a whole area with a cherry blossom tree and all that? That's all within the same area. In Japanese it's called the Ikūken Mugen-jō which translated to Infinity fortress or some people call it the infinity castle

I think, this episode was perhaps the weakest pilot episode, compared to the previous Kimetsu no Yaiba seasons (Especially Yuukaku-hen Arc). But, one of the best aspects of it might have been the introduction to Sanemi's Wind Breathing Technique. I read that Sanemi was considered to be one of the strongest among the Hashiras, and Wind Breathing was the most offensive technique after Hinokami Kagura. But my, he literally obliterated the incoming demons like running hot knife on butter! I really have high hopes for Sanemi.
Also, the name of the snake coiled around Obanai's neck is Kaburamaru, and he is considered to be one of closest friends of Obanai Iguro, since Obanai is considered to be more stoic and anti-social among all the Hashiras. Furthermore, in some culture (predominantly in Asia), white snakes are considered as a lucky reptile, considering that in those culture snakes are sometime considered to be an omen. So, I think the mangaka of Kimetsu no Yaiba might have thought about this fact, before illustrating the skin tone of Kaburamaru.
