American idol with hailey mia(former voice!) and abi Carter didn't help things either. Set my expectations really high for this show
Tbh I found this first week pretty cool! Maybe less talented but with a lot of unique personality

Am I the only one that hates the block button? lol. What if the singer was really looking forward to a certain coach and they got blocked? That’s my thought anyways. 🤣

Dani Stacy! She killed it with her 2024 “I Will Survive”. Having danced all night to this song at Studio 54 I’m blown away & so remembering those times. She interpreted it beautifully. And 4 chair standing ovation! 👏🏻
That was average karaoke night type vocals. It was ok, not mind blowing amazing. She has no range. But yes it was ok, average Tuesday night at a bar n grille

The last singer was the winner. That song is a classic and he did it perfectly. There were a few contenders but this year in 2024 were missing talent that we had years before. Great song and good job on the classic.
Can we turn the volume up on these I gotta put my phone on almost full blast just to hear! That and the jump scares you get from how loud the ads are 😂😂

Speechless and the final song were a level up. I loved the last one because my old neighborhood, through the woods, there was an apartment complex and on some fridays this dude would crank up some hella sound system and run music backtrax and sing montell just as loud as a concert... good memories lol

Dani Stacey is amazing. I love the guy who sang Take Me to the River, he was so incredible and soo much soul more than anyone I've seen in any competition. Gene Taylor was amazing too

They saved the VERY best until last and Gene Taylor's beautiful rendition of Lights stood out to me, especially at the end when I had a vision of the city by a bay in the moonlight. ❤

I like a variety of music styles, which is what The Voice USED to be. Now nearly every act to audition is country style and from Nashville. Why not tell it like it is and change it to The Country Voice. Yee-haw!
exactly and with 50 percent of the coaches this season being country its gonna get worse before it gets better don't think I"m gonna continue watching this train wreak
I figured out most the country singers besides 2-3 auditioned week 1
There is no doubt imo so far Team Chance has the best team right now especially when they got Dani Stacey and Maddi Jane 2 of the most talented ones so far this season on his team, those 2 got potential to go to the finals and go far in this competition. Especially Maddi Jane because she can control her vocals and runs and her voice really well, shes well known by lots of people and she has very good potential to win the voice with Team Chance because Chance is a rapper and he can bring Maddi Janes vocal ability's to the top with the right coaching and right song choices. As much as I love Team Legend so far with OK3 and Gene Taylor, I feel that theres gonna be a fight between John and Chance final showndown.
I agree that Chance and John have the best teams and probably have the winner although Reba has 2 really good ones, too, esp. Eliscea.
Maddi Jane is great as are Nathan and Gene. Dani and Nadège are really good, too
All those close-ups of the big button are exciting…
I'm interested to see what Gene Taylor ("Lights" by Journey) can further do.

Well after last season it's going to be real hard to top it this season. Hopefully there are still some excellent singer's still waiting in the stable for their chance to shine. You know the first week is WEAK when they had to add a few singer's that didn't even get a chair turn to their "BEST Performances Video".
