I imagine the modern rogues video on dealing with burns may soon increase in views lol For real though this is the amazing TKOR content that keeps us all subscribed. Youve helped start my own, and many other's, personal backyard workshop
This is the first actual TKOR video in a long while, having been supplanted by mindless filler for several weeks. Thank you for returning to your core.
You should make this into a kit Here are few suggestions: Instead of plaster and sand use castable refactory Make a lid (faster heating) Instead of stainless cups use those mini graphite crucibles- they should fit

Sort of we need the melt anything foundry using a surplus medical oxygen generator + another available gas to make foundry that can melt titanium, tungsten, steel, and work as an alloy station and forge.
@Roderick storey he was specific about this exact foundry. It doesn't get hot enough to melt steel, because i made it myself. Takes 30 mins to barely melt copper.
FINALLY SOMETHING THAT ISN'T MELTING SOMETHING OR BOILING SOMETHING. NOTHING LIKE THE OLD VIDEOS WITH GRANT (IN TERMS OF QUALITY AND INTERESTING IDEAS) BUT STILL ITS BETTER THAN THE STUFF YOU WERE PUTTING UP RECENTLY
Great idea using steel wool to reinforce the casting! Lots of other helpful and interesting tips! You guys have really improved from your first video which i enjoyed also
Ok this is pretty awesome and very convenient but like who’s gonna have like different drill bits, gas tanks, couplings and stuff but other then that really cool and creative
Now try putting some activated charcoal in vacuum chamber to test whether it increases the vacuum pressure or not . Do try it. Love from India.. Like if you people want it
It depends on how hot the can gets and what the can is made from. Usually paint cans are made from tin and I dont know how well that would hold up to extreme temperatures as its melting point is 500 degrees
You could make the 4 screws that hold the contact tip more secure by putting a nut on each of them, this allows you to lock the screws in place once they are in the correct position.
2:58 Can I ask, How does this make sense: He said wait for an hour at room temperature, but then for the oven for speeding it up he said "1 hour or so" again
I was wondering if you could surround a gem inside of a sphere of glass with one side flattened to keep it from rolling, this idea would be based off a book series that I know Nate has read. I think it would be cool if it could work without having cracks or bubbles.
Your my favourite youtuber i made 3 apple swans with my family i also watch your Survival videos i cant wait to try the techniques you showed me . I also want to try the blats caps and maybe ill make a blowgun with a laser . I wish you posted every day though. the turn coal into diamonds is hilarious i laughed so hard watching it. I just want to say thank you for all this videos to fill my brain thanks so much sincerely havenlife
Hey guys and gals. I'm going to suggest a center punch for your drilling needs. I watch all of your vids and it seems like one would come in handy. Home Depot or Lowes carries all kinds. It makes for drilling into curved surfaces much easier without all of the filing. Plus, it makes for more accurate placement of your bit on other projects.
what i used in my foundry works great, i havent seen it anywhere yet so maybe you can cross test it: i mixed perlite and plaster, perlite is some mineralic insulation stuff mostly used in roofs. its really cheap and readily available and works great so far. i used it may times and it didnt crack yet.
Make sure that all the steel is stainless and not galvanized. When galvanized steel, which contains zinc, is heated up to high temperatures it releases toxic fumes.
I find this VERY cool especially for people like myself who have lots of aluminum in their homes from soda cans and/or the tabs from said cans I can see this as one heck of a way to better consolidate the amount one has better till they have enough for a big load if the goal is say a big aluminum bar or something like that just for fun or to sell if the market Is right
There are hoses that are specifically made to connect the head of a torch to a propane or map gas tank and be flexible. However, I see that putting the hose on the torch head means that you only need to drill out one hole and not have to deal with another hole that you then might make incompatible with the propane tank.
Story time: I broke a mirror and tried fixing it with adhesive. Me being the person I am, I tested its flammability. The entire thing lit on fire. I threw it, and it got put out.
When ur working with plaster it works best if you put the water in first, then pour the plaster mixture a little bit at a time. Don't stir yet wait till you have all the dry mixture added to the water. Finally you can stir so its mixed completely. This way you have more time to work with the plaster before it starts to set.
Cool video, and I'm actually going to make it.👍

I would recommend using all black iron pipe instead of galvanized as it doesn't release zinc fumes when heated

Finally, some actual making if things similar to the old King of random
You should make a cap for the mini foundry like you did for the big one

Did you use your old computer to stock every copy of Bookworm Adventures?

Here are few suggestions:

Yes because i've always needed a tabletop foundry.
I like these type of videos better than the random experiment videos

Make some coins with a silicon mold and put them in a gumball machine.
Yes 👍
Do it
You should make a foundry that is fueled by water by separating the hydrogen and oxygen
Just connect it onto Grant's hydroxium generator.
But first separate hydrogen from oxygen if you don't want it to explode.
You should try to freeze acid in liquid nitrogen and put acid on dry ice
Btw your videos are great 👍
Then you would just have some frozen acid...
That wouldnt even be cool
That’s possible, just search up nitric acid. If u expose it in a really low energy state, it will liquify
