- When we are saved by grace through faith we are adopted into the family of God and become siblings with the children of Israel. As such, we are fellow heirs to both the blessings and the curses connected to the covenant the Most High made with his people. This is an issue of fundamental importance for all believers to understand. Romans 11 is a key passage in explaining the significance of the role gentiles play in our Heavenly Father's plan, as well as our place in his family.

I've been a cutoff branch of God and withering for the past 15 years or so. I've been grafted back into christ as of a few days ago by miracle and seeking in faith. It's a genuine MIRACLE. The chaos I went through is unreal. Praise God!

@codyalexander3290 it wasn't written to gentiles. Jesus said He fulfilled it. All of it. Paul and the apostles said so. No way can you follow it. That's why Jesus fulfilled it. His sacrifice and blood atonement cover us and make us righteous before God. You do away with all that Cĥrist did when you say we should follow. You can't. It's done. Jesus finished it.
The law is a curse. Many mix law with grace and have neither.
Am I right in thinking that there will be only one olive tree (the cultivated) that are subjected to the covenant, as all believers from the Gentiles (the wild tree) are grafted into the cultivated tree?
The reason why I ask is that Christians talk about the church (Gentiles) and Israel (decendance of Abraham) as two seperate entities.
That is what I believe, yes. For example, YHWH came to save His chosen people during the time of the Exodus, however, it was a mixed multitude that stood at the base of Mount Sinai and received the law. And we are told repeatedly that there is one law for the native born and for the stranger that is among you. We are the strangers who have been grafted into the commonwealth of Israel.
And just like we find in Ezekiel 37, one day the dividend kingdoms of Judah and Israel (Ephraim) will be made one again in the hand of the Messiah. And when we read in Revelation that the gates into the New Jerusalem are labeled with the names of the twelve tribes, we must realize that the only way we are getting in is if we have truly joined our Heavenly Father's family. There is no gate labeled for gentiles or the church.

Did you know that Mount Sion IS MOUNT HERMON (Deuteronomy 4:48)
Mount Hermon is at the northernmost extremity of Israel: IS MOUNT ZION ON THE SIDES OF THE NORTH THE CITY OF THE GREAT KING..
You see God is intent upon creating an earthly parallel within the Great Tribulation of the spiritual reality spoken of in Hebrews "but ye are come unto MOUNT SION". You see in the Greek language there is no letter Z, and so in the Old Testament we read of Zion, but in the New we read Sion. Except for that one occasion in Deuteronomy 4:48.....for it is looking forward to an altogether New Testament event. You see Jesus was transfigured upon Mount Hermon and was spoken of therefore as the Holy Mount. It is there that the elect of God shall rejoice and sing a New Song in Revelation 14 (the defiling women of wickedness referred to in Zechariah 5:7-11, the harlot of Mystery Babylon, have not defiled the Virgin daughter of Zion (for marriage is honourable in all and the marriage bed UNDEFILED).
The kings of the earth shal be gathered andl pass by near Mount Hermon. They shall MARVEL and hasten away Fear shall take hold upon them there and pain as of a woman in travail. For they shall behold the elect of God in a veritable GARDEN OF EDEN amidst the Great Tribulation; themselves left in a dry land, a wilderness and a desert by the First Trumpet Judgment as prophecied by Jeremiah in chapters 50 and 51.
Now read Psalm 48 with your new understanding of where Mount Siion is.
The elect of God shall be untouchable: "For I saith the LORD shall be a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her ".
So you see in Ezekiel 38, Gog and Magog come upon the MOUNTAINS of Israel where the party is! Since they are a famished multitude at the end of the tribulation they think to chance their luck against the UNWALLED VILLAGES!!!. Except the Creator has a surprise for them lined up: the RESURRECTION whereupon ALL HIS SAINTS arrive from the four corners of the earth on horses and chariots of fire:

THE VENGEANCE OF THE LORD OUR GOD, THE VENGEANCE OF HIS TEMPLE.
All the Temple ordinances that we can’t keep today revolve around sacrifice and forgiveness of sins. Those were all reflections of what Jesus, The Messiah, did for us on the cross. Therefore we no-longer need to do them. The sacrifice was complete and any reflection doing so after would be redundant.
Certain things were accomplished through Christ, but we still see many of the non-sin offerings being done in the NT. There are several of these which show not only our devotion to God, but also our trust that He will provide though we give up some of our resources.
Certainly celebrating God's feasts and appointed times will be required of all nations in the end (Zechariah). So we should continue practicing those things now as we wait faithfully.

The good news! That Jesus is the Son of God. That He taught, performed miracles, was crucified, rose 3 days later and then ascended back to be with God. He is our Passover Lamb, our atonement sacrifice and our Bridegroom.
Obedience to Torah. Keep Sabbath, New Month and Yahuwah's 7 Feast.

Thank you. I'm not putting myself under the old law. Makes what Jesus said a lie. Makes His sacrifice not needed. Or the new covenant needed. Jewish believers and believing gentiles become one in Christ. That's much different than living under Torah law.

Jeremiah doesn't just describe the branches of the tree being broken off...it describes the tree as being burned and DESTROYED. That was a different tree, so you see, this is a CONTRAST. The Tree that gentiles have been grafted into is CHRIST. Look at Romans 11, since you mention it: "Now if some branches have been broken off, and you, a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others to share in the nourishment of the olive root, do not boast over those branches. If you do, remember this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you." Now, what is the ROOT? It is God himself. Otherwise, what could both Jews AND gentiles be grafted into? You see, it's not gentiles grafted into Israel, because Israel is represented by "the others," and "those branches" in this metaphor. If those of Israel are branches, and separate branches from gentile Christians, then the gentiles can't be grafted into Israel...they both "share in the nourishment of the olive ROOT," and it's not gentiles taking nourishment from Israel, because Israel can't be both branches AND root. Gentiles are grafted directly into God through Christ Jesus.
Wouldn't that make our brothers and sisters the Israelites that keep the way of YWHW?
If you adopted a baby would that baby have a completly diffrent set of rules to the other baby because it is natural born by you and your wife?
Israelites don’t keep the way of Yahweh unless they have faith in Yeshua. Faith in Him is the ONLY way. In light of that, nationality means NOTHING. And the fact is, there IS a new bride and Messiah is the bridegroom (see Romans 7).

So it is very clear:
Israel is no good olive tree.
We are grafted into the root, which is not Israel but the promise to Abraham. We are the fulfillment of that promise and have nothing to do wth Israel or the law given to them. Read Gal 3 where this is explained.

And since you mention John 15, don't forget that Jesus says HE is the vine...not Israel, but JESUS. Gentiles are not grafted into an OLD COVENANT, but the NEW COVENANT, as Jeremiah said, "not like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt." NOT LIKE IT. They are different. The OLD covenant is now obsolete. If there hasn't been a change in Law, Jesus could not be our high priest, because he was not of the tribe of Levi and wouldn't have been permitted under the Law.

Jeremiah prophesied the new covenant, Jesus affirmed that the new covenant was going to be ratified in His blood, and the letters of Paul affirm our life in the new covenant, as does the letter to the Hebrews. But yeah, maybe I should just trust someone randomly trolling without any proof or reasoning whatsoever. Nah.

@@Yarden.Israel I believe you mischaracterize the new covenant because you misunderstand it. This probably happens because you’re so devoted to your version of theology that you fail to embrace any other possibility besides the way you have been taught. Take a look at Jeremiah 31 where he speaks the word you are referring to. He says something important that you omitted. He says they shall not teach again each man, his neighbor and each man, his brother saying know the Lord, for they shall all know me from the least of them to the greatest of them, declares the Lord, for I will forgive their iniquity and their sin I will remember no more. So you have to ask yourself, who is each man’s neighbor and each man’s brother? They are referring to what he said in the previous verse, “my people.” Who are his people under the new covenant? Those who have put their faith in Christ. So those who have put their faith in Christ know God. That is why they don’t have to teach them to know him, because by Faith they already do. Now, we can teach people who don’t know him to know him. But that’s not what this verse is talking about. This passage says his people will not need to be taught, because they will know him. This was something that was not true of the old covenant people. Simply because they were part of God’s chosen people did not mean they all knew God. That’s the difference, that’s what this passage is referring to, and that is how we can be in the new covenant, and not everyone on the face of the earth knows God, because not everyone is his people. Does that make sense?

Im not graphed into Israel. Im graphed into the Root, the Messiah. You just made Jesus a liar. He said He fulfulled all the law, Mosaics Law , and prophets. Fulfilled means it is no longer needed. He is our Sabbath and rest. The Apostles disagree with you. Christ disagrees with you. He left 6 or 7 commands from the 10. Sabbath keeping isn't one of them. Im a gentile and according to Paul who said He got all his revelations from Christ, christians are not under the old law. It was written and give by Moses to Israel. Stop making conditions upon salvation that Jesus did away with.

Please get a strongs and search out how many times Paul went to worship or talk on the sabbath day... if we cut and paste YWHWs word for the bits we like where is our love for him.
