It seems your quality of life is lower in UK. The inflation has only gone up since you posted this video. The key point is that the best days of UK are behind it.
@@AbsolutelyAshika You mentioned you moved from Bangalore. Obviously, I cannot comment on how your life was in Bangalore. I am sure you are happy with your life there and that's good. But there are many people on this planet who are happy and content with three square meals a day. My observation was not about happiness, but about quality of life pertaining to costs. Think of it this way - you have moved from a "developing" country to a "developed" country and you still are "worried about" minor expenses like the cost of haircuts, car insurance, eating out or ordering food, etc. In an apparently "developed" country why should one bother about day-to-day survival issues?
Whatever happens in the UK, WILL follow through to other Countries, because the markets are GLOBAL! The cost of living WILL rise EVERYWHERE! In most western countries, people rely heavily on credit, giving the ILLUSION of wealth, when in fact MOST are up to their eyeballs in debt, living beyond their means! The Banks are tightening their grip on who they give credit to, so even that safetynet is heavily restricted. The Bank of England raised Interest Rates yesterday by 0.5% and inflation is currently running at 9%! London may be connected, but it is TERRIBLE for prices, pollution, and crime. Forget the city, come to the country. It's safe, healthy, quiet, cheap, friendlier, and in the small towns, you don't have far to go at all to get to work. Some of us even walk or cycle.
Klaus Schwab “You will own nothing and be happy”. We are currently in the middle of a class extermination where the upper class are driving the lower classes deeper into poverty. The UK will be a terrible place to live unless you are wealthy.
I'd rather not get into how much money Klaus Schwab used to make but that being said, everything is relative. You can be wealthy and still unhappy in the UK, you can have a moderate income and still be happy. Wealth is a part of the equation. An important part, but still, a part.

I am sorry but seriously disagree. I live in harrow and food is really cheap eating out is not expensive and so many Indian places around. Maidenhead is mainly a city with Europeans and so the food is catered for them. Best place to live for Indian is either Harrow or Watford as a lot of authentic Indian restaurants.
