congrats on the scouting opportunity!! you really deserve it, your attention to detail is great and we've noticed you've really put in the time to learn about coaching and scouting whilst always building on your football knowledge tactically. you're a really big inspiration man
Been watching your videos for a long time and have learned so much.. great videos and some incredible tactics. This tactic is an absolute beast. Put into my Molde team in a journeyman and has been dominated games. to anyone that's thinking of using this tactic it bangs in goals for fun and defensively is the most impressive tactic I have seen, Went 10 games without conceding a single goal. Great work mate
Edit: Continued with this tactic after a bad start. Finished league 1, 2nd with 105 points (Plymouth had 115 crazy.) Currently in season 2 top of the championship with 78 points and 10 games to go. The corners are crazy. Michael Hector has 10 league goals. Matty Penney has 15 assists. Unreal. Only downside is injuries. Need a deep squad because the tactic is so intensive.
Atlas became the 3rd team ever to win the mexican league title two times in a row (keep in mind there are two titles per yearly season) back in 2021/2022 after 70 years without a league title. However rn they are kind of collapsing without a win in their last 10 league matches, and a few days ago they got blown out 4-1 by Honduras’ CD Olimpia. Fun fact: Mexican legend Rafa Marquez came from their youth academy
Ah lovely story! I couldn’t remember it exactly and I remember the crazy celebrations when they won in 2022 😅 I’ve never managed in the Mexican league and it’s a little fun
New to footy manager, playing on ps5, started with nantes who have a decent team. Got 3 or 4 "dead cert" tactics and done nothing for me, struggled and after about 15 games was 1 place above relegation. Getting very frustrated were I didn't want to play the game then came across this tactic. Gave it a last hope try and first game I lost away to roma 3-0. Played well but had a man sent off after about 25 mins. Since then tho I've won something like 5 and drew 1. So far a great tactic and working well for me, thanks for this.
Congrats on the new job :) This is SO strange in that I've been playing similar for the last couple of days. Mine is switched with the striker on the right, AM on left and so the CM's switched, but the same shape just inverted. I play the striker as a pressing forward, left winger as inverted winger, AM on SS, right winger on winger attack. left CM is CM on defend, right CM is AP on support. left wingback is on wingback attack, right wingback is on inverted wingback defend (this gives more stability. 2 CD's on CD defend and GK on SK defend. Really plays great football and pretty solid
I’ve used a few of the tactics that this guy has shared and this is by far the best one I’ve used. Dominating the Eredivisie league with PSV with Luke De Jong the best player in the league with this tactic!
I don't know how about the others but with this tactics my CB are getting like 15+ each season. Matter of fact top scorer of CL last year was my CB with 12 goals :D
Coming back to this a week later, found your video when searching for tactic as I'm useless at creating them so always download some. I had a Maidstone save from the start of the game, so when the update hit my tactics went downhill so I stopped playing that save as nothing seemed to work. Your tactics have been a life saver, I'm now challenging at the top of the league, lost 1 game with these tactics due to my keeper being an absolute moron! (Nothing to do with the tactic itself, he's just awful) Now I'm trying the tactics with Brighton like you did, and currently top of the league, lost against Wolves but I was totally FM'd from 2-0 up, but I didn't manage the game properly. If playing with the home tactic I've found switching to the away ones when further into the game helps see the result through. Love these tactics mate, you've earned a new subscriber 👊
Just tested the tactic , Two Thumbs up. Just played 2 games in league ( and 4 friendlies) hammered oposition (5:1 and 4:1) . To put it in context , my team is King's Lynn , we just got promoted to Championship ( after 2 seasons in league 1) . Your previous tactic ( 442) was working ok , but after update we were strugling ( got promoted after playoffs) .
Used the third one against psg in cl group stages with spurs in my first season. Had a pretty rough few games so wasnt expecting much. We won 2-0 and now we got wolves so ima use the first one. Lets see how it goes now but what a tactic rdf. Nice to have u back and good luck on ur new job!
I have a 4-2-3-1 that i want you to do The 4-2-3-1 change in a 3-1-3-3 wingers stay wide look for space And the midfielders attack the space Vertical tiki-taka
Good to see you back! 1st use of the tactic I immediately went 3-0 down before coming back to draw 3-3. Mixed bag, lets see how it progresses. EDIT: 2nd game I won 4-0! EDIT EDIT: The home tactic got me a 7-0 win against a mid table team.
Too bad I cannot add a screenshot. Implemented this tactic after 5 game winless run in the Premier League and this amazing RDF tactic was picked up and "Plugged" and we have 5 wins in a row, just a goal against. Not sure how far it will take us in the season but I will go with it all the way. Got Notts County promoted to the Premier League very fast with another RDF tactic, the Completed 4 3 3. Felt that the game gets familiar with the tactic and I think that it needs tweaks and sometimes maybe complete overhauls to change things around. The updated Match Engine is tough sometimes.
Congrats on the real life scouting job. Is a dream for many of your community here that we could do that once upon a time ! Well i like the stability of the new tactic but one thing i noticed is that the pressing forward is kinda lackluster in the scoring department, dunno if someone else is feeling like something is missing from that specific position, could you suggest something else maybe for the three tactics there? I use Tiago thomas of sporting cp and beljo on that position swapping them.
back in the day .... a wee game called manchester united europe on the C64 ... Dinamo Tbilisi where always an akward fixture :D showing my age now haha
@@RDFTactics its the computer were all the FM♥ started for me ... Football manager by Kevin Toms ! 😁 ... oh and congrats on the scouting job ... top man 👍
I had mixed results with this tactic at first. Then bought a better wings and changed the mentals to very attacking. I was winning games 3-0 at home and away.
the analysis on the "defensive" tactic is really interesting, from what I understand it could help to avoid the famous long balls and holes. I was thinking of testing it as a basic tactic, perhaps with standard height and line pressing alternating full court pressing. What do you think about it?
decent tactic, used it with Crystal Palace. 1st season, finished 6th (1 point from a UCL place). Not too sure about the "away to elite teams" tactic though, got hammered 4-1 by Liverpool, 4-2 by Arsenal and 4-0 to United, but will improve my team and see how it does in my 2nd season.
congratulations on the new job if anyone in FM youtube deserves an opportunity like that you’re definitely one of them. great video again wishing you the best in the new role and looking forward to the next video!!
i have tried most of the tactics with Newcastle nothing seems to work but a 4-2-4 with 2 DM's , for this tact its a PF so i dont think they are supposed to score as much as a AF, tried this tactic aswell Isak scored 16 in Prem and got sacked after 20 matches
LOVE the content bro. Long time watcher and subscriber across the platforms. One question, how do I get all three tactics fluid? I’m halfway through the season and they’re all fluid apart from position/role/duty that’s only competent? Any advice
This tactic looks too OP )) I started playing Brighton. Currently #1 in my 1st season after 14 games. 2-0 Liverpool, 4-1 against Chelsea, 3-0 against Spurs, 3-0 against MU. 13 wins and 1 draw against MC. And that was an even game. I could have lost for sure, cause Haaland is a beast, but I had my chances. But I'm playing on a previous patch - and too many goals come from corners. This tactic is not about possesion (sometimes i have like 35-40%), but about efficiency. And I'm suprised that many tackles come from attacking players. Trossard tops the table in terms of tackles. His tackling is 4 =)) #2 is J. Lingard though. He is a winger in N.Forest. Too much tacklkes. Probably it's about the game, not the tactic (it's my 1st 2023 career, so I have no idea).
