@TyresNTorque the weather at the TT could have been better but still had a fantastic time,took
the gpz, my son was on the zx636,riding over the mountain on the one way system is magic!
So glad that no riders were killed or seriously injured this year.
Always a bit nervous taking the gpz on a long trip,it's a 40 year old bike so anything could happen!
It ran well so shouldn't have worried,my favorite bike has to be the CBX.
I had one brand new when I was 21,got a massive bank loan and could hardly afford any fuel lol!
I bought the one I've got now age 40 and fully restored it.
Paid £2750 in 1980 for the new one,then £2700 for the one I've got now in 2000!

It seems to be a regular thing at the TT but I’m glad it wasn’t the case this year, hopefully that continues 🙏 The riders are just nuts, so talented.
I’m currently thinking about getting a project to stick in the garage for when I’m able to work on one. I’m stuck on the sofa for 4 weeks so it makes sense to do some research while I can 😂 It will be my first project so I’m thinking a twin or a single to start with.
Any suggestions?
Really enjoy your videos, I just want to ask about your thoughts on the Transalp, do you find you get any vibes/ buzziness through the handle bars ?I currently ride cb500 x and find it rather buzzy at around 100kmh , is the TA ok at motorway speeds ? .

Not really no, for me the bike is smooth and comfortable and I don’t think it is particularly vibey or buzzy. Having said that all bikes do have a light buzz to them but it isn’t significant enough to bother me on the 750 😊 The bike can handle motorway speeds absolutely fine without feeling to like it is being strangled at all and without it getting buzzy. I have had no problem sitting at 70mph for well over an hour 😊

@@TyresNTorque cheers, thank you for the info, our family had the old Saltersgate Inn near the early warning station on the North Yorkshire moors in the 70’s , family now in Stapleton near Darlington.

Great video, but Chop Gate should be pronounced Chop Yat. Its from old norse meaning pedlers road I think.
