    Get regular with RELAX
Start every day the RELAX way
Your system will feel so great
You´ll want to RELAX on the top of the Empire State
    Get regular with RELAX
Start every day the RELAX way
When your tummy's not so hot
    Remember, "X" marks the spot
Get regular with RELAX, the RELAX way

This sums up all my suspicions about Marketing in one scene.

Mia did great job throughout this film. Especially love her scene with Danny Aiello and his mother (when she was going to get whacked).

And as always, a typically dismal and useless line reading from the director, "like this... relax, relax."
What's even funnier is that every one of her vocal takes is the exact same playback for each successive performance.

Hahaha, really? Not even the neighbor with a hatchet scene? Mares eat oats and does eat oats and little lambs eat ivy - a kid will eat ivy too, wouldn't you?

    • @maxpenn6374

Remember the kid's father chasing him around the house with a belt? They were threading their way around everyone else in the house, each doing their own things, separately or together.

@@maxpenn6374 Yes. Back when living together as a family wasn't seen as a negative. How about the beginning of the movie when the neighbor was being robbed but then by answering their phone and playing Name That Tune during the robbery, won them all new furniture. In my opinion, this will always be Woody Allen's masterpiece. A wonderful and insightful take of a time when radio was king.

@@percyblakeney3743 It's hard to choose a favorite part of that movie. I can choose a new favorite every time I consider the story. I regret that Netflix removed it from their lineup.

The laxative business was pretty important. With rationing laws in places, God only knows what they were eating back then.
As a Meshugga Gentile, the Jewish jokes all over this movie are hilarious. That's what makes America awesome. We can all relate to the same plight. Constipation doesn't discriminate.

Well... constipation could happen to anyone in the entire world, believe or not 😱; maybe U.S. (America is a whole continent, not just one country, that's a thing to learn) problem is it's head stuck in in it's own bu**hole.

The only thing that would make this funnier, is if Elmer Fudd were singing it. See if you can imagine.....

It's only natural. Mr. Monroe can call it "his" company but he doesn't inherit it until the owner, who happens to be Doris's father, dies.

I wonder if the implication in the lyric was that you could relieve yourself on the roof of the Empire State Building.

I thought it was a ironic joke because the "mooring mast" on top of the ESB looks like a gigantic proctological probe, and sitting atop it would be very unrelaxing to say the least.

    Is Doris Shelley Winters? Lol

    • @maxpenn6374
      @maxpenn6374 4 роки тому +2

The role is played by Hannah Rabinowitz. She has exactly one (1) credit on IMDB-- for this performance. IMDB calls her an actress but she must have had another life outside show biz. Shelley Winters is a good guess
