Video Contents:
0:25 - Airport Layout/Diagram Description
0:47 - Parallel Runways - Parallel runways at LNK have presented a problem for pilots. The large space between the two runways may contribute to pilot confusion and misidentification.
2:12 - Hot Spot 1 - This area concerns taxi clearances to aircraft taxiing on taxiway E and instructed to hold short of either runway 18-36 or 14-32. There is insufficient room for aircraft to hold short within the Hot Spot area on taxiway E. Know where to hold short!
2:55 - Hot Spot 2 - Aircraft taxiing south on taxiway A have failed to stop at the approach hold line, for runway 14-32. Be aware of this location!

They need to being back 36L and 36R... Doing what they did created more confusion
If only we had a naming scheme for 2 parallel runways like 18L and 18R (I really like the new vids)
That's actually a great observation, and I noticed that too. From my understanding, the reason why they're not 18 or 17 L/R is because of this very reason: runway confusion. Having the different numeric could potentially help with pilot confusion. A very interesting airport though, and BIG. Glad you're enjoying the series!
LO Altitude several years ago someone landed on the taxi next to 17 thinking 17 was 18. I don't think it was Harrison Ford. Atis would state that the taxiway was not a runway. 😂
@@LOAltitude they used to be L and R. Apparently it's like 2 million to change it back. Controllers now have to say extra verbiage on final to make sure pilots know the airport and runway setup.
