Time for a little update, (all be it, from a while ago) we now have a set of points! There will be another more in-depth update coming very soon, as this was filmed a little while ago now, and a lot has changed since. All good stuff on the way!

Great news it's all looking good, full steam ahead literally, this is going to be brilliant for Chirk, Dyfryn Ceriog and the local area and the greater Wrexham county, this will bring in tourists ,train and transport enthusiast. It will be great on spring, summer and early autumn days. This will get the attention of train enthusiasts on the way to the Llangollen heritage railway, keep up the great work that your doing, this is going to be great, Take care

Impressive progress being made here. A few lengths of track down the platform and eventually the ticket office being rebuilt will improve the experience for visitors, no end.

Used to work on that line for TFWR cleaning and maintenance on chirk station, saw the start of your work clearing the rubble and the old Ruabon bricks from the station. Looks amazing

I've always wondered what ultimately led to the decision to build to 2'3'' rather than the original 2'4 1/2'', I know there's been quite the debate going on over the years ;) Also, I know plans to eventually have a steam engine do already exist, sooo... are the plans to re-gauge a Baldwin 10-12-D or to build a new one to the design of the Beyer-Peacocks?

Given that the GVT was a roadside tramway, how far can the reconstruction get to without getting into highways type issues?
