Because like you said, Shield Fighter is way better on any kind of armor and It feels they did this to have more options than just Shield Fighter.
I’m always happy for more Archanea content but seeing Nagi get an alt is especially amazing. I know she’s hot blah blah but shes genuinely one of the most mysterious & intriguing FE characters. If you didn't know, she only appears to Marth if you don’t recruit Tiki & get the Falchion and there's various theories about who she actually is (reincarnation of Naga or maybe an alternate Tiki form?). And now Tiki, Naga, and Nagi all have spooky alts! Her art is incredible too with Idunn, Asatani Tomoyo doesn't miss
From my research of the lore, I have deduced (headcanoned) that Nagi is one of many reincarnations of Naga's fractured soul, who was brought back together by the Rite of Awakening. This explains Nagi's amnesia (she's only one smaller part of a mind) and how she only appears in some and not all timelines (each playthrough of any game is a timeline).

When i saw the thumbnail of the trailer i was scared for my orbs, but when i saw idunn was just the backpack, i both got sad but also thankful i can keep going for sigurd

I don't think Askr ignores deep wounds by 75%. The 2nd paragraph is for BoL4 for allies only, the 3rd paragraph is BoL4 for himself but without the 2 space restriction.
I must say I don't really get this banner. Lethe- the cat girl, dresses up like a... cat girl. And then Nagi and Idunn- two dragons, dress up as dragons. No, not even that, they dress up as themselves. Yeah they look different from their base alts but I have already seen both Idunn and Nagi as dragons, when they tranform. Yarne, Nah and Askr are good but they could have gotten more interesting weapon types than their normal beast- and dragonweapons. I don't think I'll summon but good luck to anyone who does!
Predictable that in InfantryCreep Heroes save skill 4s ended up as completely obsolete on arrival. Truly an IS moment. They just want one infantry to block everything two armor cannot. Next banner another Embla that disables saves on entire map for sure.

I see people upset with Yarne being a grail unit again, but I would honestly be more upset if he was prfless. He's lucky he didn't end up like H!Kellam, S!Dedue, S!Vaike, S!Linhardt, V!N!Hawkeye, and, saddest outcome imo, N!Saizo who all got dumped as prfless grails with decent stats cause IS doesn't want to give them any sort of strong iteration, despite fans wanting some good alts for them, but you know more strong alts for units like Edelgard and Kagero I suppose.
I'm loving the special jump on Askr so much. Got a spare Momentum for Clair, and the jump is going to help so much, now that she's Sigurd engaged instead of Marth for No Quarter. That alone made Askr worth pulling.
Anything capable of countering B!Felix is a win in my book. Also, kind of sad people are ignoring the fact we finally got a Nagi alt after being ignored for so long. Edit: Guys, I get it. Felix can still take on Nah. I was in a hurry when I made this comment and I had to leave somewhere. Please try to understand my situation instead of complaining to me that I should "watch the video."

Thankfully, nothing too crazy this time. Askr looks amazing on paper, but he's just such an all-rounder that I have trouble finding anywhere I'd use him. SD if I played it, I guess. But no, Jorge and Goldmary have been the oil that keeps my ARD running, and I will not substitute either of them.
mfw new save skills:💀 Even if Shield fighter is objectively better it’ll be completely unobtainable soon (if it’s still even running.) and saves skills being tier 4 just pushes the bar higher, it’s also another skill that could be very relevant in the future. Powercreep is powercreep.
Askr's art here is just peak. Might honestly be my new favorite piece of character art in the whole game. I'm completely starved of orbs but I hope I can lucky summon him on my first few pulls...

@@RobotnikPlngas Maybe, not sure. I haven't tried or even theorycrafted so can't vouch for her. She's alright but might struggle without external factors tipping the scales. I'm also F2P since launch and my advice is only get what you absolutely need so you can save free orbs. Took me 7 years to build up 4200 orbs and had to spend 900 last week. Don't try merging etc. You gotta laser focus on what will improve you in Power Creep Heroes if you're F2P.

So yeah don't go after every power creeper unit or good art (made that mistake early on) and save up for what you're actually needing in the modes you play. Forget about summoner duels as F2P though.
The art for the banner looks amazing! But I'll hold out because that Dagr alt looks so epic. Btw Askr's get the usual 50% Deep Wounds reduction not 75%, they just broke it up into ally clause and askr's clause (these texts are becoming a whole thesis).

Finally i got Emblem Sigurd he was so good for my squad with distance counter seal and C Engage the warping is very helpful and his mobilty is good enough to hit and run then his special the 2 action is very if you Emblem ike , Brave Alphonse, Emblem Sigurd and The one Beast with Divine Nectar if you put them in one you can survive any them but if you want to end battle in one turn you need Brave felix , Emblem Sigurd all those with extra action one plus Magic Shield+ and Shadow Shift 4 for sure you can complete the battle in one turn .
I can see why Nah was chosen now considering the pulse theme of the banner. Happy for her! Art is amazing! Buuuut holy shhhhheeeet, Dagr is looking HOT. She GLOWSSSSS. I would very much like to get Askr and Nah but I think I'll just skip and have more orbs for Dagr's banner.

Not gonna lie, I like what they’re adding. But I’m so mad that we aren’t getting a Halloween Fae. I saw her in the trailer with the Jack-o-lantern on her head and was so happy. I was excited to throw my orbs at the chance, but i feel lied to.
They didn't lie tho the duo convo video came out after the trailer video. But yeah it's sad she's the only one in the animation without a costume ( halloween alt) but Fae really should have been here with Idunn so they can enjoy the festival together she's the only one left Sophia and Idunn are here so she has to appear next year hopefully and IS might be hinting at her having a pumpkin costume with the pumpkin accessory they gave her hopefully she does show up next year she has too Idunn is here and Sophia too we just need lil Fae.

I do not like seeing Seasonal Fire Emblem Heroes having the same Colour and Movement type like their previous version for example Halloween Askr and Ice Tribe Nils. Castor is a Red Bow Infantry but he wears Blue. That is so strange that most people do like repeat themselves of a previous version like that.
I thought this banner would be so Broken but after your video, idk what to think. Those saves are not as good as Duo Fjorm? And Tier 4 Saves are not that good as Shield Fighter? I probably summon for Askr and be done. I already have Bride Embla Who helps a lot and Halloween Askr feels more like an Omnitank unit than a Galeforce one with BoL4 so... I prob summon him because I don't have Attuned Micaiah or BoL4 outside Heidrun. I need It for Aether Raids Offense. So thank you for the review. I have things more clear now.
@@a-j-o-l-o-t-3 Yes save 4s are useless, even on tanks with armored whatever specials. If you aren’t killing them on first attack back, you are cooked to start with. 40% alone will still wreck the tank like they showed on the trailer.

first of all why did Yarne get two different alts this year? oh well atleast he got a different colour so making Yarne emblem for Yarne fans is cool (poor Nils having two blue variants). Second i find it funny they release last month the best save unit being fjorm but then introduce tier 4 skills in this banner instead. They could have make Fjorm get a tier 4 save skill first but nope gotta bait the whales and meta players somehow. I'm ok with this banner it has Nah the best fodder in this banner IMO cause her C skill would be beneficial for Marni. hopefully I can free summon her

Not gonna lie, I like what they’re adding. But I’m so mad that we aren’t getting a Halloween Fae. I saw her in the trailer with the Jack-o-lantern on her head and was so happy. I was excited to throw my orbs at the chance, but i feel lied to.
They didn't lie tho the duo convo video came out after the trailer video.
But yeah it's sad she's the only one in the animation without a costume ( halloween alt) but Fae really should have been here with Idunn so they can enjoy the festival together she's the only one left Sophia and Idunn are here so she has to appear next year hopefully and IS might be hinting at her having a pumpkin costume with the pumpkin accessory they gave her hopefully she does show up next year she has too Idunn is here and Sophia too we just need lil Fae.

I do not like seeing Seasonal Fire Emblem Heroes having the same Colour and Movement type like their previous version for example Halloween Askr and Ice Tribe Nils. Castor is a Red Bow Infantry but he wears Blue. That is so strange that most people do like repeat themselves of a previous version like that.

@@a-j-o-l-o-t-3 Yes save 4s are useless, even on tanks with armored whatever specials. If you aren’t killing them on first attack back, you are cooked to start with. 40% alone will still wreck the tank like they showed on the trailer.

Maybe that is the Stategy behind all the text in the Game. Just summon for things you can not use later and not reading lolololol
@@a-j-o-l-o-t-3 Yeah so many people who didn’t read anything in the comments lamenting about save 4 when those don’t even help most save tanks to start with. Either they introduce another save 4 variant later for shield fighters or this is very lackluster for armors.

first of all why did Yarne get two different alts this year? oh well atleast he got a different colour so making Yarne emblem for Yarne fans is cool (poor Nils having two blue variants). Second i find it funny they release last month the best save unit being fjorm but then introduce tier 4 skills in this banner instead. They could have make Fjorm get a tier 4 save skill first but nope gotta bait the whales and meta players somehow. I'm ok with this banner it has Nah the best fodder in this banner IMO cause her C skill would be beneficial for Marni. hopefully I can free summon her
