As it should. An apprentice's lightsaber will often resemble their master's. While Vader may have painted bits of it black, it's still basically the same as his Episode 2 hilt. Starkiller's is like a cross between the 2.
I feel you on the crystal led. I had alot of problems just figuring my RGB led. I ended up figuring you have to go in each color file on xled to do say you want white 1023,1023,1023. Nope each color doesn't have the same strength so it takes awhile. I have a pixle crystal pcb as well but i think it may be easier doing on a Proffie. Theres a ton of support on "The Crucible".
I’ve always wanted to build my own lightsaber but my ignorance on everything has stopped me from pursuing it. Would you ever make a series step by step on how to do it? From 3D printing to soldering to the SD card and how to make sense of the files? If not, then I’m curious as to how you learned how do this stuff? B/c it is freaking awesome
Maybe if I have free time to work on that… at the moment I’m working a more in-depth tutorial on how to build a saber but it doesn’t include 3D printing or how to make sense of the files
Ah man, it was a while ago but I most likely used either a 330ohm or 470ohm resistor. I can’t say that’s exactly what I used, but that’s probably what I did
I’ll have to do a video about that one day, I tend to leave it out of my build videos since I never make any wiring diagrams. I just look at the diagrams in the manual, or the most helpful one is the diagram from the soldering mat made by thecustomsabershop that has CFX stuff on it
@@averycastillo i have that mat, was helpful for everything except the wiring of the accent neopixel, do you remember where you connected the wires. i set it up so the neopixel connector and accent led shared a data line, but couldn’t work out where to put the positive and negative
This saber always reminded me of Anakin’s from episode 3

@@gokaisilver3801 Couldn’t have put it any better myself.

@@averycastillo Awesome, looking forward to it
@@averycastillo yeah, a series would be helpful
didn’t you do a chassis and build for the 7chambers SK-IG saber? incant find the video.
Which resistor did you use on the crystal ?

@@averycastillo thanks for the reply
How much would you sell this for if you will sell one
How much do you charge to build this?
i wish you had shown where to attached what, been trying to figure it out with the manual. connected everything but neither neopixel light up
