As a 21st-generation maestro of the illustrious Dagar lineage, he stands as an extraordinary and rare vocalist, adorned with a distinct repertoire and profound comprehension of the essence of Indian music, along with mastery in traditional and classical styles of Dhrupad, Dhamar, and Khayal. Merging the asceticism of Dagarvani Dhrupad with the versatile melodic vistas of Sadharani Geeti, Niloy has emerged as one of the most captivating and promising Dhrupad vocalists of our time, exuding elegance and timeless grace.
Ahsan started his musical journey at the age of 4 under the guidance of his father and has been trained by renowned musicians like Padma Shri Ustad Wasifuddin Dagar and Padma Shri Gundecha Brothers.
In October 2021, Ahsan collaborated with Grammy and Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman's Firdaus Orchestra at the Dubai Expo. In 2012, he collaborated with jazz virtuoso Vycheslav Guyvoronsky in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Roman Das is a progressive percussionist who specializes in the Pakhawaj. His performances showcase the instrument's classical music heritage, blending tradition with creativity. Roman believes that the sound of the Pakhawaj can uplift one to experience divinity.
