It's not really a remake, just a port/remaster. But yeah the whole FPV thing didn't need to be in there but whatev's
@@ryanschindler923 it's literally a complete remake from the ground up based on the MGS2 engine, along with new graphics, a complete rerecording of all dialog featuring the legendary Rob Paulsen as Gray Fox, and a new soundtrack, which admittedly is the one thing this game does worse than the original imo.
I like this version more. Why do you dislike it OP?
@@Stavvy0 certain parts are just more epic in the original. I mean look at the jeep chase part. Way more epic on the ps1.
Plus you can cheese some of the boss fights in the remake as opposed to the original. Oh and the voice acting was better in the original too.
@@ryanschindler923 No, its totally a remake. A remake is built from the ground up (resident evil remake, ps4's shadow of colossus, resident evil 2 remake), a remaster is the same game with tweaks on resolution textures (the metal gear hd collection on ps3/360, the god of war hd collection etc). Every single asset in twin snakes was built for it and not used from the original version, voice acting included. So its a remake.
And about it beign "crappy" ... hard dissagree. These days i rather play tts than the original to be honest. I get some artistic choices were questionable, but crappy it was not at all.
