I really enjoyed Watching your video. I’m gonna have my 3rd C-section very soon and I needed a refresher as to what I needed to bring with me. It’s been 12 years since my last pregnancy so it feels like I’m new at it lol

I definitely understand that! I swear I feel like a first time mom again after my first being a micropreemie and spending 10 months in the NICU. She will turn 3 about 3 weeks after her sister is born. 🤦🏽♀️ Lord help us! However, I have one question with only 2 days in the hospital before being discharged did you find it necessary to take your own nursing pillow or can I make it with their pillows? Hospitals are just so dirty 😅
@@royalreignbowdiaries1772 yes yes yes...I hate that I didn't mention that in the vid. Definitely take your own nursing pillow. It made nursing so much easier for me. The first time I had to stack pillows to get my baby high enough on my chest to nurse. It was a mess and my back was hurting from the strain. Packing that big nursing pillow on top of everything else seems like a hassle at first but, chiiiile, you will thank me later. It is worth it. 👍🏾

i had my daughter at 24weeks 12yrs ago... she is a blessing for sure... i had her sister 2yrs after her... the younger sister helped the older one so much and still does... god willing everything is going well
I'm due in March with baby #3. Also a scheduled C-Section. Last time I had a baby was 7 years ago and totally forgot what to bring in my bag lol. Thank you so much for this video. It was very helpful!

Congratulations!! I apologize for the late response. I got a combination of stitches and glue. They used disolvable stitches inside and seal the outside with a bio glue. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. 💕😊

Thanks for watching, Stephanie!! I'm glad it was helpful. Sure. I'll definitely try to squeeze that in. In the mean time, my 24 hr. Postpartum video may touch on some of that. I delivered at Emory. My first c-section they kept me for 3 nights and my second I was only there for 2.

My daughter is 8 going on 9 and this is rainbow baby so I’m excited but scared as to what to expect because it’s been a long time. We plan on delivering at Northside Gwinnett but they don’t have many pictures only the pictures of the Atlanta and Cumming campus. Which is t helpful I tired looking for videos on the actual hospital experience because most of the comments are bad, which scares me. I was actually feeling great. I think because I had just come off of a hard labor and delivery the year before, I approached this one with a different mindset and preparation. This was active day I got discharged from the hospital, so like 2 days pp. I'm glad you found this video helpful. Congratulations, mama! Stay on top of your pain meds, and listen to your body. You got this!! ❤️🎉
Can you do the waist wrap for compression and tummy shrinkage after a C-section?
Honestly, I don't know. I didn't do any waist wrapping because of how sore I was postpartum. My first c-section got infected. It cleared pretty quickly with antibiotics, but I was too scared to apply any pressure to my tummy area. I barely wore pants, unless they were pulled high up under my boobs. 😄
Can you do a vlog on your second experience because I have mine on Monday and just don’t know what to expect 😩
I am working on that as we speak, Demitriana. Idk if it will be up by Monday, but I will try my best. It was a lot of footage so I will likely break it up into 2 parts.
