I just came back from visiting Dallas and I really enjoyed my trip. I am considering moving to Dallas but I really am looking for a nice and safe neighborhood to live in. I considered Addison and Carrollton and I am so glad I came across your video. My goal is to relocate from FL and start a new life in TX. I am a young professional and I am looking for an area that gives me city vibes without all the noises and traffic. Thank you for this video!!

Just moved here without touring the apartment….definitely a mistake. The cabinets were broken and in horrible condition for move in. Plus over 15 other things that required maintenance requests. Right next to Vitruvian park tooooo. Just insane that for $1200 this apartment was allowed to be moved in like this. Be careful in what you are buying in Addison/Dallas. Lots of apartments were built in 1980-90s so the insides could be a bit dated. One thing common in Dallas apartments is low ceilings so if you prefer vaulted ceiling’s then that’s something to look out for. There is so much to do in Addison but the living conditions of renting here is hit or miss.
Definitely been thinking about renting in addison. Moving down from Chicago. Young family from a big city...and it seems like a good medium for me. It's looking very walkable. Which is what I'm used to

Yep it's a lot of older builds over there and I'm like you i prefer 9ft ceilings with newer builds..

It definitely is a medium I'm from Chicago as well but live in Plano. I go to Addison often it's very nice.
I lived in Anna TX 3yrs ago. Loved Addison. I think there were places for comedy shows and Lawry's 🥰
