The default coffee mode will only fill up about 40% of a regular coffee cup. I did the adjustment setting, but still, only got it up to about 60% of a standard-sized coffee cup. Is anyone else experiencing and annoyed by that? In the meantime, my workaround is to do a custom fill 45% and just run the coffee mode twice.
The differences between regional EVOs threw me for a loop while shopping. Luckily the North American version has exactly what I want! Love mine so hard!!!
No, it’s only for double shot espresso or dispensing into two separate cups; for people who want a true double shot from its own fresh puck of ground beans, you just run it twice in a row, the machine is insanely fast. Same for a double latte, just run it twice. If you really want to tune it though you can program any of the buttons to pour longer by holding their button; and the My Latte button is fully programmable so you can do a double shot and a double foam all at once and save it to the button for a one touch double latte or cappuccino
It’s fully customizable, I don’t remember the factory default anymore but it’s in the manual, it takes a single press and hold to adjust the amount you want tho to each drink button, and the my latte button is fully programmable
It’s 1, but you can customize it to do a longer pour. If you want a true double just run a single shot then the latte button to get the second shot and the milk foam
@@ecscoffeeincexactly, I do Starbucks style: 4 pumps of white mocha sauce - pour two shots in and spin the glass to mix, pour in ice to about 2/3 or 3/4 the way up the glass, and pour milk over. Shake or stir (I use a cup with a lid and straw) perfect every time.
It can froth milk only. Select the ground coffee option…but don’t actually put coffee into the dispenser. Then press My Latte, and the machine will dispense milk only.

There is nothing else you can do. The amount of coffe that is ground is not enough to do what you want in one go.
To make a large regular coffee do you have to press button 2 times...or can you adjust so that it gives you a mug size of coffee?
This machine will be able to do a larger mug of espresso based coffee, but you may need to adjust the quantity or size!
what exactly does the over ice function do? how does it compare to espresso and coffee?
You never see steam coming off the coffees from these machines. Are they actually hot or just warm?
Not as hot as a manual machine with a portafilter. Best bet is to find a store like hours and go try them....or better yet come see us!
Why on your machine does the milk come out first in your cappucino? It does the opposite on my machine!
Can it be use to make hot chocolate or milk steamers?
How do you make an Americano? Do you have to manually make it. What does the “coffee” option do exactly that’s different
my ass came here looking for this answer and still nothing
In what setting you have the grinder thank
Hi David!
Our grind setting varies depending on bean :)
Would u guys prefer this over the Philips 3200 Lattego?
It depends on what you're after! Check out our comparison video here: ua-cam.com/video/d_fXv4ouvlo/v-deo.html :)
it does not grind twice for double espresso ?
so “x2" comes out the same as “coffee” button?
Yes. Just adds more water.
The machine is very fast, I just brew two in a row
how to make 18g double expresso with this machine?
Thank you 🙏
You’re welcome 😊

Is there a way just to froth the milk for hot coco ?
You can trick the machine by selecting to use the bypass chute and not putting anything down the chute, and discarding the water it produces!
my coffee deliver very slow and I did adjust the grinder but not help
The grind size is probably still too fine!
Can you press x2 and make x2 latte and cappuccino as well? Do you like the taste of the drinks?

How many oz. in the standard latte macchiato setting? Thanks
It’s fully customizable, I don’t remember the factory default anymore but it’s in the manual, it takes a single press and hold to adjust the amount you want tho to each drink button, and the my latte button is fully programmable
Anyone know if the latte macchiato is just 1 shot or 2 shots of espresso?
It is one shot :)
It’s 1, but you can customize it to do a longer pour. If you want a true double just run a single shot then the latte button to get the second shot and the milk foam
Can you make an iced latte with this machine?
Yes! Well... sort of. Pour ice and cold milk into a glass, then pour an espresso shot over top! Voila!

how do you make a hot milk
Unfortunately this machine does not have just a hot milk option.

@@mnap7033 Yes that would be a work around :)
The ECAM29083TB can do just milk...we always make hot chocolates with ours.
