My favorite band anywhere and have been for a good three years or more. Their live shows are absolute fire. I've seen them twice, and both times walked away with that rare, precious "I was just in the presence of greatness" vibe. They're versatile, too (without being unfocused). Check out songs like "Monsters" or "now I here" for a very different vibe...or "Rise" and "Revive" for more bangers. You can't go wrong in their entire catalog so far.
The members of nemophila are musicians from different bands. They are all excellent musicians. And nemophila is a very unique and diverse band, with various genres of music appearing in their catalog. I recommend《oiran》live(recent upload) next!🤘🏻🌸🤘🏻

Nemophila is pure 🔥🔥🔥. They play a variety of styles. Not all their songs are this heavy but they’re all excellent. Mayu is an extremely versatile vocalist and all the musicians are world class. Try Revive or Adabana next.

Nemophila are a powerhouse R&R band that no one can pin a label on..They do whatever they want and do it expertly, and entertainingly( Is that a word?..well it should be) anyway they're very diverse in style, and they have such a great presence, on stage, as well as in studio.. many great originals, and covers.. unbelievable musicianship, and Mayu(vocal) is unmatched in originality.. hope you continue down the Nemophila (5 petal flower) path..

Mayu - the vocalist (ex- Lipstick band);
Haraguchi-san - bass, backing vocals, was Mayu's friend and colleague from Music College (ex - Holderlins band);
Tamu Murata - drums, backing vocals, one the most respected session musician in Japan (countless bands), with also her own original carrier; she's also the wife of Akira Yamaoka, musician/composer, known especially for his videogames OSTs, in particular for "Silent Hill";
Saki (ex - "Mary's Blood" band for a decade, and others), she's a "young sacred monster" in J-metal) guitar, backing vocals, and...
Hazuki (Li-sa-X / KOIAI bands) - guitar, backing vocals; both, Saki and Hazuki have a lot of experience.

You're a great reactor, I'm glad UA-cam put this video in my recommended - I've now seen your Babymetal and Band-Maid videos as well. There is a lot of overlap of fans in this area of the music world.
Nemophila official live videos are all really good - I would recommend "Oiran" (live version from about 3 months ago is best) next for a similar vibe to this song, or "Adabana" (music video) is a good choice too. If instead you want to see a bit of variety, less scream and more upbeat sounding, try "Monsters" (live version), or something entirely different like "now I here" (live version), a power ballad. Even more different is "Night Flight" (live video or MV) which is an 80s disco inspired song! My favourite song lyrically is "Rise" (music video), essentially about believing in yourself and overcoming doubters, pursuing your goals and forging your own path in life. It's a common theme in Nemophila songs to have a positive message, similar to some of the other bands you're currently exploring. There is also a great live performance of a very emotional song called "Life" (live video) but this one might be best to save until you know the band a bit better.
On top of that, they also have a great catalogue of cover songs of all sorts of genres, many of which they made during the pandemic. They always pick out songs they like and have fun with it, sometimes dressing up as the original artists or even copying the shots from the original music videos. On their UA-cam channel they have a playlist of all their covers. Have a scroll through and see if anything catches your attention. They even have a Babymetal cover - a fun combo to do would be to check out Babymetal's "Megitsune" first, and then watch Nemophila's cover of it after.
I'm usually more of a hard rock guy than a metal guy, but somehow Nemophila managed to become my current favourite band. It was singer Mayu's very unique vocal tone that caught my attention initially and now I can't stop listening!
A few random facts about the band:
- They are fans of Babymetal, especially the redheaded guitarist on the right of the screen, Saki - she has loads of their merch!
- Mayu the singer loves to dance. When they are playing an instrumental/solo part you'll often see her dancing in the background.
- Haraguchi-san the bassist wears her heart on her sleeve - during songs you'll usually see her either smiling with joy or trying to suppress her smile and act serious but often failing!
- Saki (red-head guitarist) is the member nominated to speak in English as she' speaks it best. The others are learning as they go, and there are often English lyrics in their songs.
- Both guitarists play seven string guitars and the bassist plays a five string base.

After these bands I always recommend sokoninaru. Very proggy and mathematical yet, as with so many Japanese amazing vocal harmony and melodic earworms, despite visiting ten keys and ten time signatures per minute. Unique. "Tenorio...." is a good way in
