Great video and great hunt. I am blessed to still have my father but time got away from us and we didn't get to sheep hunt together. I am so happy for you. I got an awesome Dall Ram Aug 22, 2015 and hope to make it after the Stone. I was sitting here remembering the heavy pack on the way out and watching you all. You inspire me to be ready again.
what an awesome video. I can only dream that my dad would want to come on a backpacking trip with me. He's getting older now and after a recent blood clot in his leg in the middle of last hunting season, he hasn't wanted to stray too far away from civilization. It is my dream to book him a Yukon moose hunt before his time is up as he's always wanted to do so.
You are one lucky man to have that experience with your father up on the mountain like that. I am extremely envious.

Nice country but as a 75 year old I didn't find it even remotely amusing that you laughed at your Dad trying to get up with a load on his back. Next time let him get up and you lift the pack up so he can get it on his back, adjust the straps and let you know when he is ready. Your turn will come soon enough when you find out that it is '...no fun getting old !'
