Another great review Danny, thank you for that.. Quick question, what would be your Top 5 favorite affordable backpack (edc, minimal travel) of All Time and which one of them could be your one and done bag? Regards
@@RN-jo8zt But the thing I'm noticing is the lack of storage pockets compared to Aer bags. I'm leaning heavily towards Aer for that reason alone else looks wise at least T2 wins
Thank you for watching! Definitely a tough choice between the two, I would say aer bags feel a little more rugged and as the comments mentioned, have additonal organizational pockets so if you a little bit of a higher budget it might be worth it
Looks like a nice pack. Can you please do a review on the mystery ranch superset 30? I can’t find any reviews on it. It looks like it has a nice shoe compartment.
I love my Fjallraven Raven - except for the fact that it doesn't stand up on its own. How well does this this bag support itself? It looks like it stands up on its own pretty well in your video, but you do don't specifically mention that.
Thank you for watching! Both are great bags overall and which is better will depend on your organizational preferences, the q has some additional pocketing whereas the division has a simpler layout (I do think the division deluxe is more comfortable than the q however)
I've had the original Division for some time now. It's a nice bag but*. That's pretty much how I describe it when people ask. The slash pocket on the outside is useful enough but that volume seems to intrude more on the main compartment than against the outside material. As deep as it is, it feels best suited for a rain jacket / pair of gloves / tech pouch. Small stuff gets lost in here. Laptop compartment is fine but does not have a false bottom; that seems to be different from the Deluxe version. It fits my 15" Lenovo gaming laptop, barely. Water bottle pouch is tight for a lot of common water bottle sizes. When I emailed Timbuk2 about adding another water bottle or a carry handle even as a custom option, I got a simple 'no.' Main compartment is fine; it fits stuff reasonably well, provided you don't have the slash pocket too full. The organization panel on the original Division is pretty useless with lots of pockets, no elasticity or retention for things in them, none of them really shaped well to fit common things (outside of the one couple inch by couple inch zippered pouch I use for eye drops and a spare battery). I'm glad to see the Deluxe version got rid of that mess, what you showed off is much preferable to the original. I like the new harness system on the Deluxe; the original is still pretty comfy but having the luggage passthrough just seems like a no-brainer these days and I appreciate that the Deluxe has one that keeps the bag oriented vertically. No complaints about the original, appreciative of the updates on the Deluxe. Good review Danny!
Thank you for watching and for sharing your experience with the bag, good call outs and I agree the improvements on tbe deluxe vs original really help!
Thank you for watching! Although the bag offers some weather resistance I think water would start to seep in if you were on your bike for an extended period in the rain, might look at something with an xpac or tarpaulin fabric
Thank you for watching! Both are really great overall, and I like that the elements pro has the dual external water bottle pockets but overall I prefer the layout and aesthetic of the timbuk2
@@dannypacks thanks. I just ordered Bellroy via workpack since it’s on sale plus I got student discount for final price of $87. Do you think it’s worth the price?Have to see how it holds up.

Wow nice timing. I'm eyeing this against a few other Aer backpacks. It's so tough to decide!
Yes same for me ,just confused between Thule subterra vs delux vs authority

Great video again! Have you ever looked at the Rickshaw Protrero backpack or the Rickshaw Sutro? Would be interested to hear your thoughts!
Thank you for watching and for the suggestions! I hadn’t heard of those but they look like pretty interesting options!
@@dannypacks Really enjoy your videos! Alpaka also released an Elements Pro backpack if you're interested in seeing their changes to the original
Awesome review. Dropping some comment to show love and support!♥

Thank you for watching! It manages to stand up pretty well on its own especially when it’s a little more packed out
Please do a review of the Osprey Arcane Flap Backpack. I've been waiting for someone to do one on that bag!
Thank you for watching and for the suggestion! I wasn’t familiar with that one I’ll have to see if I can check it out!
Bought it at ~105 USD and currently on delivery. Was that a steal?
Thank you for watching and definitely a great deal for this bag!
I'm deciding between Timbuk 2 Division Deluxe vs Q laptop pack. Which one would you think it's better for school and traveling?

Would my 15in laptop fit with a sleeve. It's about 16"x11"
hey man, is this rain resistant? for motorcycle use

hi! between this and the alpaka elements pro, which do you like more? thank you!

This and authority, which one fist more items?
Thank you for watching! The authority can hold a bit more than this one

Does this bag heavy rainproof
hi, is this 22 or 18L? It says 18L in the links and other websites. thanks
Thank you for watching! I feel like I’ve seen it listed as both, but I’m usage / loadout it feels closer to 18l, maybe 20 at most
Could I use this for under the seat as a personal bag?
Thank you for watching and yes it would work well as a personal bag!:)
They say 18 liters on site...and 22 on site
Thank you for watching and yes that is definitely confusing! I would say this one feels closer to 18l maybe 20
