Kikuo was contracted to make this as a demo song for Tone Rion, hence the different vibe. But the way the melody goes at 1:18 is unmistakably him, it's almost identical to the chorus of Mono wo Para Para Kowasu!

I don't own the Vocaloid software or any voice banks, but I've always loved the music. Tone rion is one of the few vocaloid that stuck out to me. She doesn't have many songs or covers and I'm wondering why; she sounds beautiful and gets no attention. For a few years Tone has been my favorite vocaloid and I take pride in that. If I had Vocaloid, she'd be the first I buy. Heavily underrated. :(

when I first heard it i thought it was Miku singing, since ive never heard Tone Rion’s voice before or Kikuo using her. When I realized it was her I could tell her voice was softer than Miku's.

the album cover literally shows Miku, yet it’s a completely different vocaloid!! i can also hear a difference after listening multiple times, but i genuinely thought this was miku at first
So my theory for this song is that there are two people who are in love, but their families don't approve of their partner. When the singer says they were born on a white planet, then a blue planet, and then a black planet, they're saying they were born in a family that chose who they were allowed to date and everything was fine until they fell in love. Despite their family's rules, they continue to sneak out and see each other. This is when the singer describes what the setting around them looks like. It seems like they meet near the ocean at night. And when the singer says they still feel warm and buoyant despite being born on a white/black planet, they mean how they still sneak out to see their loved one. When their families find out, they force them to cut out all contact with each other, and this is when the singer says they came out but were chastised and had to part. When they say their rainbow colors mix and become not cute anymore, they're talking about how their love fades away as they have no way to see each other. One day, after their love had completely faded, their families let them meet again thinking they couldn't fall in love anymore after being separated for so long. Then the exact opposite happens and they fall in love again. Both of them know their families wouldn't approve of their relationship due to what happened before, so they decide to commit a double suicide so they can finally be together. This is when the singer says to let them dance and sing as much as they want. This is also when they said they melted into the blue sky.

This theory really reminded me of sailor moon because before pretty guardian sailor moon she was born on the moon (the white planet) and then her love on earth (blue planet) but no one approved of it she would sneak to earth to see him one day the people of earth attacked them, they killed her love infrout of her so then she killed herself so they could be together again. Idk if that really made sense but yea

I have def heard this song before, but I never knew what it was called. All I knew that is was really alike with Kikuo's songs. It was mostly used for animated memes that have a dark backstory and then the song would just stop in the middle so I never really heard it, but now I hear this and get so much nostalgia. 1:46 I wanted to point out that earlier in the song it says that we are born on a blue planet and here it says that we're born on a black planet. My interpretation of this is that the color of the planet we live on represents how we see the world as kids and how we see it as adults. The planet that is blue represents how we see the world in a positive and happy way as children. Then, the planet turns black as we become adults because we see the world as a dark and sad place, and find out the harsh realities of life. But it also says that although we're born on a black planet we still feel warm and buoyant. Meaning that even the we see the world more negatively, we also still trying to be positive.

I think it about the mourn of lost of friends. Because it says “someones dawn arrives” and it says “ we had to be chastised apart”. My theory is they were first all together in a group but then got treated like outcast and the group was getting killed by the darkness?? At the end i think they all just go away or there is one standing, “we weren’t able to identity ourselves anymore”, they had given up
