This comment perfectly sums up my life, I make music as a way to cope with long term illness, and I love that the emotion and feelings of my own individual battle with life comes across in my music, I hope that I can continue to make music that touch's people and hopefully helps them to keep going even when they feel they can not. ❤❤❤
Red Marker it sure does ;) I listen to aforementioned "Taiko" almost every morning, along with other artists. And your artistic experience is something that a lot of great artists went through. One could almost argue that suffering was a way for them to amass creative energy (curiously, the exactly same concept of transforming pain into art is seen from the Bible all the way to Nietzsche). I still think art laced with suffering is the only art that's worth it, as in Brave New World from A. Huxley. Keep going, you are one of the few artists nowadays that's worth it :) ❤️
I think that's very true buddy, there is a lot of any artist in their work, as if their thoughts, feelings and experiences mould their art. I think a lot of the best pieces whether they be music, painting or even photography, are those that capture emotion in that piece, especially where music is concerned there is definitely far too much stale pieces about, music by the numbers so to speak, and the music that always resonates and captures me, is those that evoke something in me, and it is something I always try to replicate in my own productions.
