    Thanks for showing how you do maintenance. I think all your tanks look great and more representative of how I like to keep my tanks. I like that you use sponge filters too. And you’re so right about the detritus - all that “mulmy” goodness is why your tanks are so healthy and clear! 👍🐟🌱💕

    Hey man. I just stumbled upon this channel. I absolutely love this fish room. In the future, can you make a video to kind of describe how you have each of your shelves set up and what racks you use? Thank you! I’m looking forward to more great content!

      Fish Boy I’ll definitely be on the lookout for it! Is there any reason why you weren’t comfortable placing the 75 on the second shelf on the racking system?

    Awesome vid...love what you are doing.
    I hope this is not out of line, but I have one note: It is important to have an air gap between the drip emitters and the water in the tanks in order to prevent backflow from contaminating the drinking water system. Every municipal code I have ever heard of has this requirement. Might be worth checking out. Not trying to call anything out, just thought you might want to know.

    • @fishboy1415
      @fishboy1415  4 роки тому

      Thanks Dan! Yes I thought of that and for now I have multiple check valves and a plumbing piece that prevents back flow into my house water incase it makes it past the check valves, but will definitely look into keeping them out of the water!

    How is the breeding going with the Sterbai Corys? Are you keeping them in a 10g or 20g tank? Thinking about trying to breed them as well and curious to hear about your progress! An update video would be awesome if you've had success.

    I have some micro Gobies that love burying themselves in light gravel/sand...it doesn't make a mess, but is clearly their preference. Wondered if cobalt Gobies would do the same if given option? (fair warning: it does make them hard to catch...had to almost completely drain and sift thru sand w my fingers)

      I have eco complete in a 90 gallon community discus tank and noticed some of my corys had worn whiskers and thickening of the skin around the lips from digging in it all the time. The corys are fine but are definitely affected by the rough substrate.
