I only just found out today that Toby Keith passed away Monday, I am so saddened by his loss, I thought he was progressing and the cancer was dormant, I stayed in bed today for awhile, crying over this news, RIP TOBY KEITH, you will be missed by so many. Amen❤

It is so hard to know that he suffered so bad. He looks so healthy and good in this video, but his last performance in December 2023 had him look so beaten up by this terrible disease. I am battling cancer myself but since last July I am cancer free. Rest in Peace Toby you will never be forgotten.
I can’t believe how deeply I am effected by this man’s passing… I never met him or went to one of his concerts, but I have heard his music, without realizing it was Toby Keith, I loved the songs!!

I recorded the race that day because I went out to walmart. A friend was living w/ my bf and I at the time. When we got home he said, "Hey that guy you like , there was a crash and he died" and I was like, "naaahhhhh.. you're joshing". (He would do that). I rewound the tape and sure enough.. turn 4 of the last friggin lap of Daytona.. Feb 18, 2001. I lost the tape 10 years ago. :-(
