  • When we think of a Total Permanent Disability (TPD) claim there’s an assumption that this involves a physical injury. This isn’t true - often psychological injuries and mental illness can force someone to stop working.
In this video, we cover what mental illness is, and how you can figure out whether you qualify for a TPD payout.
The processes involved in claiming a TPD payout from your superannuation fund for a mental illness are quite different from a physical injury, and, in a lot of cases, it’s more complex. Navigating the system on your own, particularly when you’re unwell is an extremely difficult task. Our team of dedicated TPD specialists will take the time to listen to your side of the story and truly understand your situation, so that you can receive all of the compensation that you’re entitled to.
