I bought a brand new 2023 Civic Touring sedan in this exact color combo in January 2023. This video truly doesn’t do it justice. The color is just beautiful! The morning (afternoon?) sun here doesn’t do it any favors. You really have to see it in person. Maybe it’s just me, but the meteorite metallic gray seems to have a slight blue undertone, which I love! Coupled with the subtle sparkle and the two-tone black/gray interior, well… It’s very classy! A beautiful car. I’m super happy with mine. Honda absolutely knocked it out of the park with the 11th gen design. If you’re at all interested, definitely take a look.
Hey I wanted to ask someone with it but would it be a good first car? Like I’m more or not concerned about the cargo space because I know my parents will send me on groceries runs and I’d like to know the space compared to something
@@your_name633Civics are always a good first car. 😉 And I highly recommend this 11th generation Civic. This Civic has PLENTY of space. If you get a higher trim, the back seats fold down to give you more space. The hatchback offers the most storage space but if your biggest need is groceries, the sedan will do just fine. Go check it out in person to see for yourself if it will suit your needs.
I'm waiting for the Civic Hatchback Hybrid, but I feel that this Sport Touring is just a tad bit expensive. Maybe if it was around $30k it'd be great value.
I agree. I am testing driving the 3, Corolla, Civic and base Integra. It’s coming down to the Civic and Integra. The SI, Sport Touring and base Integra is where the overlap is and it makes it wonky. The SI and Sport Touring should be the same price ($31k vs $33k).
Have you decided? I test drove the 3 yesterday, didn’t really like it. Next weekend gonna test drive this civic and the integra a spec and I think I’ll decide on one of those two. The aspec is like 5-8k more around here though so I’m not sure if I’m willing to go that much more over this civic
Window tint $500, Rear cargo mat $120, wheel locks $70 for a total of $690 if you did it on your own or you can get robbed at this dealership and pay them $2k. I'd give them the middle finger right back after all that's what they are doing to their customers.
They are charging for window tint, but none of the windows are tinted. Also, you can opt out of wheel locks, and no, the Dealer doesn't t make them . Dealers are charging extra things that are just that extra. So you can say no to wheel lock, rubber fitted mats, tint that isn't even their and mud guards
I asked the dealer if they could not do the window tint on the vehicle I was looking at but they said window tint comes standard when anyone purchases a vehicle and they do charge for it. I told them I can do it myself. They still said no, Honda does it because the cars are tinted when purchased.. it was about a $200-400 charge.. I don’t remember.
Currently have a '13 sport limited impreza hatch, this'll most likely be my choice over the new gen Impreza RS, Corolla, and Madza3. Cvt doesn't have the bad of a drone of the impreza RS. Big area, unlike the corolla. Good balance between physical/touch, unlike the nearly full physical knob/nearly full touch tablet impreza. Highest trim actually gives BOTH front seats powered adjustament and heating. Mpg beats madza and impreza, competes against corolla. Pulls well from stop despite the cvt. It's such a big list of how well off this car is without glaring issues/nitpicks I have compared to the competition that it currently is the best in my opinion that I want to own.
I only got a 10th gen but I def think its quiet enough. Im pretty sensitive with road noise, dont think that 11th gen would be louder. Best advice, try and test one if possible and maybe try a 10th gen too. :)
@@joakimberg692 nah not interested in going back to older cars. I just drove a new Tesla Model 3 Highland three times. Then compared to a couple Hondas at the dealership. The Tesla was much quieter even on noisy highways at full speed. The dual pane glass and other enhancements made the difference. I'll look at Lexus next to compare. Acura doesn't look to have any decent cars this year. TLX has weird track pad instead of touch screen. I had a 2004 Honda Coupe and it was noisy as well. Honda needs to start adding sound dampening and ANC.

Hybrids are cool until 5 years later and you have to have your battery replaced for 15k.
If you go for a 22 you can find em around 27k, I’m actually about to buy one. Same stuff as the 24.

@@AP-uk4di having entered the new year, I’m sure you can find a good priced 23 in any trim or model for now
i got the 24 ex-l in black and love it, the wheels on this 1 are definitely cooler, might swap one day.
Find a dealer without the add on rip off. Pay less than MSRP sticker at a volume dealer.

No cap the add ons over here in canada are ridiculous
Can't wait to get my hands on one.

Wheel locks, tint, and mats , I always get. Not sure what you mean that they charge for tint that is not there. lol.

Nice review Sir, any idea when we can expect hybrid with civic ?
Hybrid sedan is coming in the spring 2024 and the hybrid hatchback in the summer.
@@goinwitdaflow thank you
I paid MSRP for mine and they added exactly the same stuff you got on there.
Man it really does matter what dealership you buy from.

My older Accord Coupe 2014 has a loud interior. road noise. Has Honda improved sound deadnening and road noise?

On the 24 Honda hatch ex-l , road noise was quite audible. The sport touring was better in terms of road noise. It was less.
Nice review, but those dealer-added options are ridiculous.
I like it, but it needs more power.
Those chem trails though....
I miss the old one 😢
Same I don’t LOVE this new one. I don’t feel like I can part with my 2020 10th gen just yet.
You could just, you know, buy the old one?
