(War of the roses) I mean some of the noble houses have similar names like Lancaster =lanister, there's a mad old king, a cruel man child prince , (Jeffrey and Edward of Lancaster) and everyone is willing to manipulate,lie and/or kill their, friends,neighbors or relatives to be the only person who gets to sit on a huge throne.

I fondly remember of Wars of the Roses. From a game I used to play, it talked of both sides longing for power and control. Never had I known it was Shakespeare’s work, I find this fascinating. Longing to see more.
It was a historic conflic. Shakespeare just wrote plays about it.
The war really happened, but Shakespeare wrote a play about it and about king Henry.
War of the Roses was started by a woman ( Margaret, if I remember). and lasted 30 years. It was also ended by a woman who wanted to protect her son.
I like that Asian Manga author's revisits the history and culture of Western Europe, it would be nice to have more Western Manga revisiting Eastern culture too (and also others from the all world..)
@rutufn0596, lady oscar/rose of Versailles is another good history anime.
Please we need more dub shows this season it’s been dry lately
