Im not a fan of the religious aspect of his "schtick".
But i do enjoy the ideas of differing philosophy. Especially his wisdom on life and how to view it on a different level.
To even view the world on a level of stillness which is a practice on learning and mindfulness or so to speak.

dear Mr butler. can you point at one evidence there is anything after death? and if not, what kind of wisdom is this?
it's religious wisdom, not scientific wisdom.
@@infecta yes i understand. problem is religion has no wisdom. only blind faith.
@@doronbarzilay590 religion has wisdom, read the Quran, it contains wisdom about astronomy we as humans did not have the technology to attain at the time, perfect measurements in distances, numerology that is impossible to explain, there is more to life than blind atheism, i suggest reading into the miracles of religious books.
@@doronbarzilay590I'll take the honest words of a man in his 80s about how the gradual change over the decades, from that of feeling "apart from" early in life, to a feeling of being "a part of" the world around him slowly yet inexorably increasing over time(telling him that the continuing on in the same direction(that would occur), shows that death would have a feeling of complete rightness)-over the lofty musings of the scientific community based on nothing more than peering at various stuff through their microscopes etc.
@@doronbarzilay590 i had written a comment containing positive words regarding Islam and our holy book and the miracles it contains regarding astronomy, for some reason youtube censored it, if you want to be open minded and find out why religious people choose to believe, go look into the Quran and what it says about astronomy etc, it's only something i use to prove a point tho, there's way more to it than just astronomy

@JoeCali12 You should consider doing humanity the favour of presenting whatever it is that's given you such certainty on the matter of whether or not a higher authority exists, so that the question is resolved once and for all and no further discussion on the matter will assail our ears. But I'm confident you don't have anything(other than the fact that proof of the alternative also hasn't been given-and unfortunately for you, absence of proof is never proof of absence), or you would surely have provided it. Fact is, none of us know-why else would the debate continue to rage?

Id say that he comes from a focused ideology in metaphysics. Which is why he comes off as "naive".
