FINALLY! Dude, I've been looking for ANY website listing, or video, or smoke signal to get info on how wide the Vallorbe is compared to other double bevel files. And this is the first video that even mentioned anything about the size of the file as compared to the other files. Thanks much - I can now go ahead and place my order for the Vallorbe. (I wanted to be sure the Vallorbe was as narrow-width as I thought. When the file is too wide, it makes it difficult on some chains to squeeze in there without rubbing against the rakers.)

You’re very welcome, and I’m glad it was helpful. I was in the same boat a couple of years ago, which is why I did the video. If you email me, I can give you a very competitive price on singles and multiples, including dozens. elevationsaw23@gmail.com

2279-8 for the double bevel, 2270-8 for the chisel bit, 2276-8 for the triangle/three square model.

Great video, thanks. Any tips on where to buy Vallorbe files by the dozen ? I buy the 12 packs of round files, for a much better price than one at a time, figure the dozen pack would be better also.

Thanks! Email me at elevationsaw23@gmail.com - I have a source for them. Price per dozen is better, for sure.
