@joshville7906 in a few years producers will be out of a job, that's what I meant. You might enjoy doing it, but besides for hobby reasons, there won't be a need for producers, musicians, composers, etc to create songs.

The vocal fry creeping into the note on that second example it spit out is crazy. It sounds so fucking real.
I don't think AI will ever replace all music producers - It however may end up saturating the sample pack market and also make most background music unviable as far as income is concerned. I did a full Documentary on the history of music production, tech and AI which is on my channel for those curious in this whole thing but I wouldn't immediately default to fear of being replaced. If anything I expect DAW's to eventually have some form of sample or audio generation built right into their workflows. We'll see - the future will be interesting.

i wont use AI to compose my music but AI can help with mixing and mastering i hope DAWs to get AI to help a little with mixing and mastering
actually this is inspiring as hell you can be so much creative with it and steal ideas from it to right more music, I think ia gonna help a lot of producers if they use it more effectively and take those ideas to the next level because a lot of them still lack human feel or simply more nuances
It is scary, but I think I can use it. I can play around with lyric ideas and song structure, just trying different things and playing with it, learning along the way. Then I can use what I learned for my own songs. Thanks for the video!
This is gonna take producer jobs for sure. Just imagine you are a game producer with a low budget, maybe just you and a couple of friends, do you 1: hire a producer, or 2: spend 10 second with this?.

If there is different AI models of this music generation, it can be used as pre-configured templates to create a particular style of music in a AI generative way, giving artists and musicians alike the possibility to create unique music using AI. That's kind of brilliant.

how do you keep the exact same beat that you continued from? its seems to change the beat once added or changed lyrics to a different style beat....after its entered..thanks
Yeah I'd like that option too but it's not really possible. Although there is a work around where you press the three dots on the beat you already created and choose "continue this song" you set the time to continue from to an early part of the song like 0:10sec and add in new lyrics. This will mostly use the same beat, with the new lyrics but the melody of the vocal might be a bit different. You need to experiment with the time to continue from. You might need premium with the V3 alpha version though.

Jeah, I am pretty f*cking worried.. There is no futere any more at basic starters, who are just learning how to make music. AI can maki it all and now, when humans usually have to practice years and years. It just is not fare!! I don't like it. Just like @Millianairevvs says, "seems like my career ended befor it had even get started." That is scary.. Really sceary.

yes and no.. I think it's 2 minutes or so but then you can click to continue the song so you can make longer ones.

For example, AI can compose music, but it can't infuse it with the personal experiences and emotions that make it truly meaningful.
for what we are seeing AI can copy all those things to a point that you won´t be able to recognize if a song is AI or not, which means that either you admit that all that content is there, or if not, you will still believe that it is as you won´t hear the difference.

I never put real songs in BUT I have a shrek story, I put in "90s quirky rock about an ogre who likes onions and has a donkey friend" and not only was the art ai of shrek and donkey but it perfectly sang about shrek being a gentle giant, his silly donkey pal how onions were the best part of his days AND it did a couple joke references to smashmouth songs haha it's actually wild.
It is something else. I believe all Daws will become obsolete and another kind of software more simple will be the next step in music production
Or Daws will include AI, just like some gaming creation programs today already include AI, that will help you write parts of the code in your game. I think in a few years all major DAWs and programs will be expected to include AI that will help do the repetitive time-consuming bulk of the work.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!! i want to make my own music, i am able to compose some tunes in my head n now i want to materialize them. I am learning FL studio currently. I want to ask, How can i convert a simple tune into a 45 min or an hour long track? I have seen so many youtubers making these meditation videos that are more than an hour long. Is there any trick or method to it? Some of them compile multiple tunes which makes sense. But then how can i turn a simple melody into an 8-10 min long track? Please help me

@@darrion508 Yea, with small variations here and there that stay true to the vibe of the whole song.
You just have to think differently about musik. There isn't necessarily a buildup or chorus in meditative music. Its more about staying true to a mood or vibe throughout the song. But you have to get good at FL. The more you practice with FL the better you will see the possibilities.
Start with a song you like and try to copy or reproduce small parts of it to get the hang of it. Then as you improve with FL the process becomes intuitive.

I don't know, keeping in mind this is all a consumer-driven market anyway! I think this kind of stuff will just simply diversify into two "sellable" categories instead - Human and AI. You get to choose what you like, what you want to follow, and potentially what you want to pay for. I don't understand all this negativity, just be smart savvy as a creator or consumer!

From what I know, corporations developing AI 'teaches' them with sources from any music website as their database, so basically it blends a bunch of songs, and can pick voices from real singers to sing what you want, including deceased ones. That's twisted.

There are about a million Plugins doing exact that. Compressor and Saturation is the thing you are looking for. U can also combine with a Equalizer

I'm not worried. I think AI is awesome, but it will never be able to put a song together as you envision it as an artist.
IMO music is something very personal and only you can put your emotion and personal experiences onto paper/DAW

not quite what I meant. I can try to tell AI as accurate as possible to make the song I have in my head but it's never gonna be 100% accurate. Hence what I meant is AI won't replicate the art/ideas one might have in his/her mind, but rather take references and add to what has been done in the past@@ClownXmachina
i've tested this and it blasted me away with a hardstyle track, unfortunately there is no way to get stems or midi so in the end its not very usefull production wise. however if that becomes available this will be mindblowing.

It's cool, but...okay....BUT! The sound output is really bad. Even RipX has problems making stems from it. 😅
I would say the first people who will suffer at the hands of this are music libraries and sync deals. Companies and creators are going to hoover this up for ads etc. Lets be honest, it has just done in 10 seconds what takes the average producer 10 years plus to master. Some of the mixes you shared in the vid are maybe lacking a bit for now, but over all you can't not be impressed with the tech. The saddest part of all, if this does take centre stage, will be the disappearance of future music industry icons. With the never ending assault by big companies on Royalties, (It has just been confirmed today that Spotify will increase pay outs from .003 per stream to .0045 per stream after robbing millions of artists of sub 1000 stream royalties) folks are just going to give up and many already have. I sincerely hope I'm wrong about this but I think this will impact a lot of people including the current gate keepers! The shear speed of this thing could flood an already saturated market place in a matter of days.

Bad musicians wanted AI to help them improve their music faster. Good musicians wanted AI to speed up the process. Entrepreneurs wanted AI to make more money. Designers needed AI to beat the competition. Scientists wanted AI to break the limits of what is unknown. And so on and so on....
It's just human nature.
I believe these days are the last chance of releasing music, before millions of songs will be generated and released every day not very far from now, also why not generate 1000 songs and get royalties

As a producer I think it's a big step to the future of music production and a huge way of inspirations. I think they have to fix some kind of distortions that I can hear in the audio and create a stems mode download so we can use or not some instruments or maybe only the vocal if it's good. Let see the next upgrade... by the way, it's already amazing.

I make ai music, and I also make handmade music. Not scared of ai one bit, it's only going to get placed in a genre. People were scared of synths taking over instruments, scared of daws sounding better than hand recorded. We still have all styles being made. Ai isn't a threat it's a new creative style that every artist can benefit from. You can try out new genres, better ways of singing your song, make instrumentals to sing over yourself if you can't afford to commission or make it yourself. Something this benefiting shouldn't be shunned you can boost your career tenfold by using the instrumentals, you can generate content on the side, build an audience and fuel your own music. The only people scared are the ones who either don't music or don't see the possibilities. It isn't taking over it's feeding all the empty space. Humans will continue to make music and make all the new original stuff. Ai can't make a new instrument it can't make a new style of music. That's all us baby. So take it in and benefit.

AI wont replace nothing, people will replace people. If i dont use midjourney to create my next album artwork and choose to pay an artist to create it for me then midjourney wont replace artists. If i choose to pay a music producer to make me a beat then suno wont replace the music producer etc etc. We need to start understanding that AI is not here by itself, people created AI and people have the power (for now) to control it/ use it or not use it. If im a miser@ble mfcker with no respect for any form of art and just want to be the next tr@shy hip hop "legend" without spending the thousands of dollars, then i am the problem and not AI. The mainstream industry created that persona, this entire generation of people not giving a f@ck about music and any form of art, industry created the top hits of this era that sound like tr@sh, no music, only autotune and beat. We can simply not participate in this and there will be no problem. There's an entire generation of new kids who dont wanna waste time to use their brain, dont wanna waste time to LIVE and EXPERIENCE live in essence. We dont realize that having EVERYTHING we THINK we need without any pain, any work, any time spend is the mindset that leads to our downfall and not a good tool. I’m selling beats, mixing and mastering, and I have studied and experienced for years this art. The problem is that the majority of the people and companies will follow money, not art. Like it happens in these decades.
Even tho it is impressive, it does sound very generic to me. It sounds good but not interesting or personal , just good and generic
