I don’t think they’re removing sokkas sexism entirely, just not gonna super cartoony. Apparently the north is still super sexist. Let’s just wait for it to come out
That’s how I feel. I don’t think they’re erasing that aspect of him, just not writing literally almost all of his early lines to be annoying and or sexist. The amount of comments he makes in that vain just would not translate to live action. We would hate Sokka too much too quickly for him to be believably redeemed in that aspect. I also think people are choosing not to remember episodes like “The Great Divide” that if included in the live action would grind it to a screeching halt and lose people instantly.
That princess yue theory while fun is just not correct. Avatars are created by specific spirit. Can’t remember the spirits name. But as soon as the previous one dies, it leaps the next one instantly. As shown in the the Avarar and The Firelord episode, Roku dies and aang is born instantly.
I really hope you do get a chance to watch Legend of Korra, the changes it makes to the world are so interesting and the different types of moral questions it raises are just fascinating, it’s so good I can never decide which one I like better overall
Been asking/waiting on this one for so long! One of the best shows/if not the best one Nickelodeon created. Who knows how the live action will do, hopefully it stays true to the lore & isn't a M.Nightmare x2 ...
Bro Korra season 2 is worse than season 1. Korra is actually unbearable in that season. Seasons 3 and 4 are decent but nowhere near the quality of avatar. Good review otherwise, one of my fav shows
Yeah, I'd easily rank S1 of ATLA waaay above S2 of Korra. However I do think Korra S3 is some of the strongest material in the Avatarverse. Maybe just below seasons 2 and 3 of ATLA.
At first I hate avatar the last air bender whenever I watched it it one of best tv shows I have watched it several times it’s very good. The legend of korra is absolutely garbage imo not even close as good the avatar the last air bender

I recommend circling back around to it. Season 1 does have problems, but it gets better as it goes on.
