After our performance at the Charles Mingus Festival in NYC, Bose generously invited us to perform at their auditorium in Framingham, MA. We played Oliver Nelson's music from his landmark album "The Blues and the Abstract Truth" in preparation for our upcoming performance at the Regatta Bar in Cambridge.

I played a trumpet for 5 years and stopped. I'm such a fool. Each time I hear that transition from that D to F, Back to D at 1:06 ....just makes my lips hurt, yet it fills my heart because it sounds so good. I can still recognize the notes for some reason...

I first heard Stolen Moments back in '88 when Frank Zappa played it with his amazing big band. The trombone player bruce fowler was very pleased that I dug it, 'I suggested it to Frank' he said
