Wow I've been thinking of taking the leap to a 1LE, I feel like a car like that would challenge me to become an even better race car driver. Sounds like you recommend the 1LE
@@nabrams4425 It's fun as hell. Do it. Whether it's on the track or on the street, it's just an amazing car. I just put on a catback Flowmaster X-Pipe/Magnaflow Race set-up and I love the entire experience.

I like the the Musto review style. Instead of reading a review and imagining the motion, feel, and sound, Musto shows it to me. I get the info I want and Musto gives it to me how I want it.
Frozen Car Guy Yup. The Okanagan Valley is a great place to call home. The new Area 27 track has big plans for the future, and judging by the founding members seen tearing up the course, they know a thing or two about speed. Cheers.
I live in Toronto and adore B.C. Area 27 is one of the most stunning tracks in the world as far as I'm concerned. The visuals of the mountains in every direction makes any video from the track look cinematic. From what I've read right now it is members only and that is expensive. If they eventually open up track days I'll be envious for not being able to get my SS on that track! =)
@@ParissaKhoury as praiseworthy as that is, it is a waste to drive a collectible vehicle like a ZL1 1LE in the Winter with all the grime and salt on the roads. These cars will be worth a lot of money in about 40 years, and if you take care of your car you will end up driving it gratis for 40 years.
Tom Peters' beautiful design and Al Oppenheiser's mechanics have made me so very happy to be a Camaro owner. I'm in heaven on the cheap- $35k for my used 2017 2SS (14k miles)
I love the ZL1 1LE, and plan to buy one…but it isn’t unprecedented for other manufacturers to offer their warranty to cover a street car for track day activities. Off the top of my head, I know Ford did with the Focus RS, GT350R, and the Ford GT. I am sure the are other cars that could be added to the list. That said, it’s very cool that it’s offered on the ZL1 1LE.
Same, I'd take a ZL1 or ZL1 1LE over the Z06. The car is incredible in both forms. If I went regular ZL1 I'd do a visual mod upgrade to get that amazing front end. The grille is so awesome.
Chevy should have put in a rear seat delete on the 1LE, like Ford did with the GT-350R. More room for a roll cage and five point harness. This is a pure track car.
Hey Mike, hopefully this wont overheat and fail to re-start after 10 minutes of novice track time at Thunderhill like the 2018 Z06 I rented from Hertz at SFO did this October.

hey mike! my buddy has a 88 iroc camaro and a crashed 2013 ZL1... we want to transfer the zl1 lsa engine into the 88. they sell lots of kits for the ls swap but... the real problem is we want to keep the stock hood. do you know any kits out there that can make that happen?
If you don't want to swap out a hood you have two options one the lsa is kinda meh sell it or swap it in and don't give a shit if it's a 88 I would do more about controlling the car then putting a ls in it because a sbc will eat most drivers alive around a corner.
This will always be the poor mans corvette but that’s not a bad thing I really would love to see Chevy bring back the RS SS or the Iroc-Z badges back it’s heritage and since the corvette is going rear mounted engine in the C8 it’s really Camaro time to shine
How is it that it's a great track car where your hauling ass with other fast cars .but everybody complains about the view out of it for daily driving doesn't make sense
Devil’s Advocate lol because a lot of people can hardly keep their little prius in their respective lane when driving straight. How many people have you heard say that but then get another vehicle and fuck that one up😂😂😂🤦🏿♂️
GM has been covering even the base SS for track work since 2016. gmauthority.com/blog/2016/04/2016-chevrolet-camaro-warranty-covers-track-day-breakdowns/

Thanks for checking in! And please make sure to subscribe for new updates!
This is one of the best 1LE reviews out there
They have sure come a long way since my 2010 2SS Camaro. Almost makes me want to give up the HellCat :)
It's kinda funny how the car has a Snow/Ice mode
My '99 Z28 wouldn't leave the parking lot if it saw a flake anywhere. Seriously, the car was allergic to snow.
What's funny about it? I own a 2020 ZL1 1LE and I drive it in snow with the snow tires and the snow/ice mode helps
@@ParissaKhoury You are a brave man. I wouldn't do it and I own a 2020 ZL1 1LE myself. It's too much power for snow.
@@ParissaKhoury Thanks for the advice. But I prefer to drive my AWD Tahoe. You have a skill I dont want to explore. lol. Take care!

Now they just need a 4 door!
Dude. Run out an get a Chevy SS with the magnetic ride control! That thing was SO much better on the track than we expected!
With 30k in savings, I could add a lot of goodies :)
Nova, Chevelle, or Camaro?
