G'day Roxanne 👋🏻🐚💖 Oh my goodness, thank you so, so much for the Super Thanks! It's such a massive support, I appreciate it so much 🙏🏻❤️ I'm so glad that you liked the video; it was such a long one today. I can't wait to see your upcoming video with the Coffee Bean Trivia - I had to double check that they were in Florida! I don't remember seeing them often, so I reckon you got some pretty rare there? I've always meant to ask, but is microshelling a big thing on your beaches? I can't help but think that there must be a lot of small species that wash ashore that are preyed upon by the larger snails 🐌🤔 but I never get to see them 🤣 but I understand that the larger shells are much more eye catching!! Once again, thank you so much for the Super Thanks, and for watching the big adventure today 🥰
@@ShellingAdventures You are more than welcome I love your shelling adventures 😊 Yeah, I find them from time to time. There are some good little shells from time to time if one takes the time to look. The west coast is better for micro shelling as in quantity but I haven’t really put the effort into micro shelling over here. It was such a short stop on the beach yesterday finding the coffee bean so I’ll just drop a short on Thursday 👍🏼 I found it on Sebastian Beach and I have found others further down south towards Palm Beach. I only have about 10 of them collecting over the past 5yrs-keep them in a little 4 oz jar. 😍
Hello Maddie, Once again a great seashell video. My favorites are Red Wing Oyster, Nebulous Sand Snail. Royal Bubbles WOW, Variegated Sundial. Maddie, Maddie you are right many good shellers out there BUT you do two a week, your presentation loads better, you find way more shells, no one sends them seashells buy you get them sent to you and I could go on and on. You have a lot of shellers like me who love you too. Thank you and take care. LOVE TRUDY
G'day Trudy 👋🏻💖🐚 Oh wow, I'm glad you liked the Red Wing Oyster; it's not one that I come across too often. Same with the Nebulous Sand Snail; I think I only have one or two others? Also, my first Royal Bubble (from you) will always be the most beautiful and special to me ❤️ Oh gosh Trudy, thank you so much for you kinds words 🙏🏻 I am incredibly spoiled and grateful that people like you, Jan, Ruth, Pam, and more, are willing to go out of their way to send me shells, and vice versa 😁! Take care of yourself Trudy; I hope the weather is looking clearer and warmer these days! Thanks, as always, for watching such a bit video this time 🥰
G'day Leslie 👋🏻🏖️ Oh wow, never seen that kind of drupe 😲 I must admit, I don't come across as many fo them as I'd like!! They're an odd looking shell, but super cool, so I hope this means that a few more might wash up now? Thanks for watching 🥰
G'day Kat 👋🏻🏖️ It's been so warm lately, hasn't it?!! This trip was actually from last Wednesday, and it was another scorcher. I went out again on Monday but didn't find much...one lady found a massive and beautiful Textile Cone, so there are plenty of shells around if you can brave the heat 😲 but saying all of that, when I put on my hat, sunscreen, and airy sun shirt on, it's like the heat of the day gets cut in half -especially if there is a bit of a breeze. What a great day, Maddie! The sundial is my fav of the bunch, so textured and such deep colors! You have become my absolute fav UA-camr...your enthusiasm never gets old, love. ~Jas
G’day Jas 👋🏻💖🏖 Oh goodness!! Thank you so much for the support 😲 I’m honestly quite stunned today; I have been blessed by my wonderful viewers! I’m so glad that you liked today’s episode - I’ve had a lot of long videos lately, so I was wondering if/when people would get sick of me 🤣 but there were just too many great shells to show in this one. The Variegated Sundial is a particularly nice find; it should remain that lovely dark black colour without the need of oil (as long as I don’t leave it in the sunlight). This is about as big as they grow, too, so it’s a really good size for the little guy! I can find some larger species of sundial shells at this beach, but I rarely come across the fragments of them...saying that, maybe I’m due to fine one again soon 🤔🤣 Once again Jas, I’m so glad that I could brighten your day with good vibes and a fun shell finding adventure 🥰 Thank you so much for this Super Thanks, it means more than I can put I to words ❤️ thank you for supporting me!

If I travelled up north, then I'd find possible even more different types of shells! It would be a very long trip though...maybe later in the year if I feel up to it 🤔Anyhoo! Thanks for watching 🥰
G'day Mary Lou 👋🏻🐚 Oh gosh, a few people mentioned the lovely Prickly Spotted Drupe this time, but I almost forgot I picked it 😂 I was so focused on the Bubbles and Cowries at the end 🤣 I think it's a wonderful shell (especially with a bit of oil- drupes always need it). The little Moon Snails were a joy to find this time as well. Thanks for watching the big adventure today 🥰
G'day Mary Ann 👋🏻🏖️💖 Oh wow, it's been a whole since I saw someone mention that Lace Coral 🤩 it wonderful, and fortunately becoming much more commonplace lately! I'm glad you liked a few of the other shells too; the Brown-lined Paper Bubbles were lovely in this episode (I though the Royal Bubble might have upstaged them a little this time)! I hope you have a wonderful day too 😁 Thank you so much for watching 🥰
Very cool Maddie, you found some very awesome shells. Very impressive 👏. Love the clam shells and the oyster. Beautiful moon snails. I have to choose the royal bubbles as my favorite. They are all gorgeous. Prickly drupe. Absolutely love the juvenile cowrie. I could go on and on. Thank you Maddie. I don't want to forget mentioning the very cool colored sun dial. Just so cool!!! All of them!!!
G'day Roberta 👋🏻💖 I've been coming across a few little joined oyster lately; I must admit that I find them quite cute! The mini moon snail species always make me happy because I don't see them much except when the shell piles wash ashore. The bubble shells, gosh, I was lucky for them this time! That Prickly Spotted Drupe was a very nice shell as well...amid all of the shell this time, I actually nearly forgot I found it --isnt that terrible?! But I agree, I should try to sprinkle more limpets into my episodes. Thanks for watching 🥰

I really love the way the tinier shells looked all together in the shell box. I love the drupe and red oyster. Omg! bubble palooza🎉 , my favourite shells today are those bubbles! Gotta love the sundial and cowries too. Goodness what's not to love? I want to say thank you for talking a little about the red coral, your beach always looks so colorful. WOW Maddie 😮 You know when you start off your hunt with a FABULOUS Grape 🍇 Cowry, it’s going to be a great day!! My favorite this time, is the Prickly Spotted Drupe… You’re right about them being exotic looking.. Second is the Grape Cowry, because it’s a Grape Cowry 😂 Third are the Royal Bubbles 🫧 and a shoutout to all the Migrating Moon 🌙 Snails 🐌.. They’re so pretty 😍 THANKS & see you next time!! 👋🏼 ❤
G’day Mimi 👋🏻💖 I’ve had a lot of luck with Grape Cowries lately; but yes, this one was a particularly nice one 🤩 Oh wow, so your favourite is the Prickly Spotted Drupe too, I think it was the crowd favourite this time! And yessss I’m glad the Royal Bubbles get a mention as well! Thank you so much for watching 🥰
G'day Susan 👋🏻💖 Yes, I got a nice Worm Cone and Bruised Cone 🎉 the second Worm Cone will be a great one after a cleanup. The Royal Bubble Shells really do deserve the favourite place though; I just don't seem them as often as I'd like 🤣 Thanks for watching 🥰
G'day Judi 👋🏻🏖️ It was a particularly good day on that shell pile: I still can't believe that no one else had picked over it yet! I must have arrived at just the right time. Thanks for watching 🥰
Oooouuuuu, micro shell piles!!! 💗💗💗 Sooooooo many goodies. 🍡🍬🍭 My favorite today is a tie between the royal bubbles and the prickly drupe. 🤤 Loved the Venus shells and the red winged oyster! 🦪🦪🦪 Lovely lovely shells today. Thank you for a wonderful video Maddie! 🥰🥰🥰
G'day Pam 👋🏻💖 Haha, it was just the one pile, really! I think when I dragged my butt over it, it ended up looking like two piles 🤣!! The Royal Paper Bubbles were just wonderful this time, and gosh, I did nearly forget about the Prickly Spotted Drupe 😅 it's such a nice one too!! There was just too many nice shells in this video; I was honestly so lucky 🎉 as always Pam, thank you so much for watching 🥰 and stay safe; a saw something on the new about a massive bush fire over your way! I hope it's not actually close to you 🙏🏻
G'day Marie 👋🏻🐚 They are simple beautiful shells! I'm so lucky to have found two of them this time 🤩 They are also called Royal Paper Bubbles...they are very thin and delicate; I can't believe these ones were fine. Thank you so much for joining me on this adventure 🥰
Morning Maddie. What a great day of minnie shelling you had and I have three favorites today. #1 has to be the Royal bubble's #2 is the nebulous sand snail and #3 goes to the grape cowrie 🐚🐚🐚. Love the video today and sending you both ❤❤ from all of us. Plz stay safe out there.
G'day Sheila 👋🏻💖 The minis were really good this time; they usually wash ashore when the low tides are very high...but even so, I feel like I got very lucky with the selection this time!! The Royal Bubbles were so cute, I'm thrilled to add them to my collection. I'm so glad that you liked the unusual Nebulous Moon Snail, and the awesome Grape Cowrie as well (it had an almost freakish shape; very cool). As always, thank you so, so much for watching 🥰
G'day Pearl 👋🏻🏖️ Oh goodness, now I feel a little guilty about only giving them a brief showing right at the end 😳 they are wonderful little shells; I can't help but pick them up when I see them! Thanks for watching 🥰
Holy guacamole this was an awesome video! I tried but just can't pick a favourite without listing over half the shells as tied for that spot, haha. Well done Maddie!
G'day Oceanluvn Gal 👋🏻🌊💖 I'm so glad that you liked the adventure; I personally thought it was a great one filled with some very nice quality shells. At the end, I must have picked out half a dozen favourite too, but wanted to mention more...there was too many shells to choose from! As always, thank you so, so much for watching 🥰
Hi Maddie, I see you are in the mini shell universe 😂 I loved that sundial shell, so unusual and different. Your shell box looked very full of interesting shells. Great weather at the beach, puffy clouds and crashing waves, I can smell the salty air! Still waiting for a bit of warmth here in Uk. Loving the prickly spotted drupe❤ End display very beautiful. Xxx
G'day Alison 👋🏻💖 The mini shells were SO good during this time time...I am a little regretful that I didn't immediately go to the next beach up the road and look for even more minis 😂 but I think I did well enough! That Variegated Sundial sure was a nice one with that dark black colour, but I think that Prickly Spotted Drupe was the crowd favourite this time 🤩 Brrr, I hope you get some warmer weather now that we're into March; it's officially spring time for you!!! Stay warm 😉 and thank you for watching 🥰
That little bird in the intro was absolutely Adorable ❤, And yes the cowrie luck again 😂, there are so delicate!, and im planning to go to the beach next month because it will be close to sunday, and i love those pastel royal bubble shells ❤
G'day Amjad 👋🏻🏖️ Oh that bird is called a Bush Turkey (native only to Australia) and it was trying to peck my shells like food!!! I had to keep shooing it away 🤣 it was too brave! The cowries were safely in my hand at the time time, I actually filmed that bird while I was packing up at the end 😂 Oh wow, you're going on your own beach adventure?!! I hope you have an absolutely wonderful time and find a bunch of great shells!! You'll have to tell me if you find anything special 😀 Thanks for watching 🥰
G'day Belix 👋🏻🏖️ Oh yes indeed! I was extremely lucky with the mini pile this time; I don't think anyone had looked at it yet -- maybe all of the other shellers were out of town 😂?? Thanks for watching 🥰
Watched this video, Maddie😊👋! I remember it because there was almost black cowrie on the cover. But I didn’t have time to look then. Then I thought, wow, has Maddie really found a melanistic cyprea?👀 I looked and it turned out to be a dark Erronea xanthodon, a very beautiful shell✨😊👍
G'day Mikhail 👋🏻🏖️💖 Oh my goodness, I wish it was a melanistic shell!! My dream is the find a melanistic Eglantina or Caurica; that would be amazing!! Someone was telling me about a good place to find melanistic shells...but you can only get to that beach by boat...and there are crocodiles 😅 no thanks!! This Erronea xanthodon is a really lovely shell, and very glossy. The colour has lightened a little already; the shell material was still wet inside of it. Strangely, the caputserpentis and arabica cowries don't lighten like that, they stay dark. Mikhail, thank you so much for watching this extra long video today 🥰 my episodes are somehow getting longer and longer these days 😅
@@ShellingAdventures G'day Maddie😊 👋 Crocodiles are of course amazing, for me they always remain very exotic animals🤗🐊, but I don’t want to meet a big crocodile😁😁😁 About Mauritia eglantina - this is very interesting, I once wanted to buy the beautiful Mauritia eglantina niger from New Caledonia, but it was very expensive and while I thought someone else bought it🤭😂. They also come in green Mauritia eglantina green - different shades of green🤗 About changes in the color of the cowrie shell when drying - it seems to me that cowries whose outer shell is permeated with micropores become much lighter when drying, and shells with a more dense, uniform structure change color less, but this is only an assumption🤔
Ahhhh i forgot to put my comment 😢 Another amazing shelling day 🎉🎉🎉 My fav today is prickly-spotted drupe,it has a very unique shape 😮 But other also sooo pretty I always admire how u display all the seashells in the end of video,u really have great patience😮
G'day Nelly 👋🏻💖 This was a really wonderful trip; I was lucky to find so many lovely little shells. The Prickly Spotted Drupe was a nice one to add to the collection; I find too few of them! Oh wow, I'm glad that you liked the shell display at the end...I though it might not have been my best this time 😅 sometimes setting up the mini shells is quite hard! Anyhoo, thank you so much for watching 🥰

Loving the prickly spotted drupe❤
End display very beautiful.
This seemed to have been a good day. How lucky you were.
@@ShellingAdventures G'day Maddie😊 👋 Crocodiles are of course amazing, for me they always remain very exotic animals🤗🐊, but I don’t want to meet a big crocodile😁😁😁
About Mauritia eglantina - this is very interesting, I once wanted to buy the beautiful Mauritia eglantina niger from New Caledonia, but it was very expensive and while I thought someone else bought it🤭😂. They also come in green Mauritia eglantina green - different shades of green🤗
About changes in the color of the cowrie shell when drying - it seems to me that cowries whose outer shell is permeated with micropores become much lighter when drying, and shells with a more dense, uniform structure change color less, but this is only an assumption🤔
Love them all 😂😂😂❤
G'day Judi 👋🏻🏖️ Haha, I must admit, all of them were particularly nice this time!! Thanks for watching the big adventure 🥰
Ahhhh i forgot to put my comment 😢
Another amazing shelling day 🎉🎉🎉

But other also sooo pretty
I always admire how u display all the seashells in the end of video,u really have great patience😮
🥰🥰🥰
G'day Sunny Belisle 👋🏻🐚 Thank you once again for watching such a big episode 💖 I'm glad that you enjoyed it 🥰
